Mika's POV
As the sun slowly sets today was a good day at the beach and no crime alerts bothered us so Miles, Bose & I gathered our stuff while Chapa is standing in the water but it's up to her knees so I went down with my flip-flops on to get her.
Mika: Chapa. Were leaving.
She didn't move or said anything as it's like she's in her own world so I grab her hand which got her attention.
Chapa: Heh?
Mika: Were packing up to leave.
Chapa: Already? Can't we stay for a bit longer?
Mika: It's getting pretty dark. So I don't think so, girl.
She rolled her eyes.
Chapa: Oh fine.
We walk back together holding hands which Bose didn't seemed to mind at all then we gathered our things then went our different ways.
Miles & I arrived home he walk upstairs to take a shower so I waited for 12 minutes for him but since he probably took most of the hot water I waited for a while longer then went up.
After my shower I went to my room to change into clean clothes and went downstairs to turn on the TV to see that Harry Potter is still on so I watch it but when commercials came on I got up to get a snack and return on the couch.
Then an hour went by and mom was home but dad was probably with his friends.
Mika: Hey, mom. How was work?
Mom: It was good. How your?
Mika: Great. We went to the beach today.
Mom: Lucky children. Why don't you help me make some dinner.
Mika: Sure.
Chapa's POV
When Bose & I went in the bed room I sit in a chair as he goes to take a shower then I roll up my sleeve seeing the scares are slowly fading away.
Voices: WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR! DO IT!!
Then Ray came in and I immediately pull down my sleeves so he doesn't sees them.
Ray: Hey, Chaps.
Chapa: Did you come here to yell at me again?
Ray: No... I want to say sorry. I was just so worried that... I let my anger get the best of me and I'm still figuring out this dad stuff. But I am so so sorry. Can you forgive me?
I got up and walk in front of him then he opened his arms as I give in and accept his apology.
Chapa: Apology accepted, dad.
Ray: That's all I need to here, Kiddo.
He kiss my head and close the door behind him then I turn around to see Bose who heard my conversation with Ray.
Bose: Awww. You two are getting along so well.
I rolled my eyes.
Chapa: Whatever.
