"When you're weary, feeling small. When tears are in your eyes, I'll dry them all, I'm on your side. Oh, when times get rough and friends just can't be found."

Will's pov:
We haven't heard from our families in a few days, I still haven't told anyone else about my black outs or powers. It was a sunny day outside, but the atmosphere in the house was pretty depressing. Erica and Holly were watching some morning kids shows on TV, Murray was cleaning up after breakfast, I was still sitting at the table, staring at the plate in front of me, I was just playing with the mashed eggs at this point.
"Will, you haven't eaten anything in the last four days," Mike stated, he was sitting next to me, for a while now watching my every move.
"I'm not hungry," I replied, still playing around with the eggs on my plate.
"Will, I know you're worried and I'm worried too, but by not eating you won't help them anyhow," Mike stated, he was right.
"How about you go for a little walk?" Murray suggested, giving us a smile smile being careful that the girls won't hear.
"You sure we could?" Mike asked, Murray shrugged.
"If you'll be careful. This is a pretty peacefull town, not much people are home during this time anyway," Murray said, giving Mike a wink.
"Alright, thanks," Mike said, giving him a smile, then Mike turned to me, "You wanna go outside?" Mike asked, I just nodded. Anything that will get me away from your complaining about my health. I know Mike's just worried, but I don't feel like caring about my own health right now.
We sneaked out, feeling like the favorite children, we started walking around the friendly looking neighbourhood. Mike held out his hand for me to grab.
"What happened to 'not telling anyone'?" I asked with a smile, Mike shrugged.
"Come on, nobody knows us here, wouldn't it be nice? Forget about everything for just one morning and act like normal teenagers," Mike suggested, I never wished for nothing more than this. I let all the doubts I had disappear and took a hold of Mike's hand as we began walking around. We stopped in a small corner shop to buy sweets, I think Mike was just okay with it to get me to eat something, but I didn't care.
"Look at that cool bridge," Mike nudged my hand slightly, motioning towards a small wooden bridge, we walked over to there. It felt like a different world, just a small wooden bridge with names and initials carved on it.
"Do you have a knife?" I asked, looking over at Mike.
"Why?" Mike asked with a smile, I just shrugged, gesturing at the bridge.
"What? You wanted to carve our names on here?" Mike asked with a smile.
"No, I wanted to write that you're an ass on here," I said, rolling my eyes, "Of course I wanted to write our names," I added with a chuckle.
"Lucky you I always carry one just in case," Mike smiled, reaching into his pocket, taking out one and handed it to me.
"Since when?" I asked, opening it and sitting down, so I had a better angle for what I was about to do.
"Since you got stuck in the upside down," Mike replied, but I could tell that wasn't fully true.
"You mean since Troy attacked you and Dustin and you jumped off a cliff?" I asked, focused on my work.
"How do you know about that?" Mike asked, I left at what I was doing to look at Mike.
"El told me, she probably shouldn't have, but don't be mad at her please," I said, Mike sat down next to me.
"It was because they were threatening Dustin if I didn't, I promise I'm not suicidal or anything," Mike said, but I didn't really believe him.
"El said it was after you found my fake body," I continued.
"Yeah, before I knew you were still alive. I really thought I lost you, and I never want to lose you again," Mike said, looking down at the flowing water beneath us. I took his hand in mine.
"You won't, I promise," I said, giving him a soft smile.
"I keep telling myself that, but whenever you have those black outs, I always get so scared you won't wake up from one, not once you even stopped breathing for a couple minutes," Mike sighed. I let out a laugh. "Hey, that's not funny," Mike said, looking over at me.
"Sorry, it's not what you said, just.. Murray sends us out to have fun and we still talk about stuff like this," I explained, that made Mike smile too.
"Then, we won't talk about anything depressing from now, until we get back," Mike suggested.
"Alright, now help me with this," I said, holding the pocket knife by the wood I tried carving something into.
"Gosh, you're useless at this," Mike laughed, seeing what I created so far, "Gimme that," Mike said, taking the knife from me. He was done rather quickly, seems like he knows how to carve letters into wood with ease. We got up, Mike closed the knife, placing it in his pocket.
"Can I do something?" Mike asked with a grin, I knew that meant trouble.
"Unless that something doesn't involve someone falling off this bridge, go on," I said with a smile, Mike gave me a look. I quickly realized what I said. "I mean, I thought you were gonna push me off," I said quickly, that made Mike laugh, I laughed too.
"No, I mean something safer," Mike said, walking closer. "Can I?" he asked, oh! I just nodded and Mike kissed me. It was a short, soft kiss, but afterwards we just stayed resting our foreheads against each other's.
"You just kissed me in public," I said with a giggle, Mike shrugged. "You, Mike Wheeler, kissing a boy in public?" I asked, faking surprise. "Unheard of," I said with a laugh.
"You think you're funny, Byers?" Mike asked challengingly before picking me up. "We'll see who laughs when you're all wet," Mike said, carrying me closer to the bridge's edge, I grabbed onto him tight.
"Mike, no," I yelled out, he placed me down again, laughing.
"I was joking, Will. You know I would never do that," Mike said, giving me a soft smile.
"I sure hope you wouldn't," I said, smiling as well. Mike hugged me and I hugged him back.
"Mike, I never want this moment to end," I let out, feeling Mike's grip on me tighten.
"Me neither," Mike whispered, "I love you, so much you don't even know."
"I think I do. I love you too," I replied, kissing his cheek.
