17. Protective Marauders

Info: Y/n has been friends with the Marauders since 1st year. The Marauders tried making Y/n's decisions for her instead of her making her own. She was scared to show her true self to the Marauders which was that Y/n is in love with Tom Riddle no matter what people say. One day during tutoring they both finally confessed their feelings for each other.

Y/n was heading to the next class with marauders, whom she loves. Marauders are all protective of her when it comes to danger meaning interacting with Tom Riddle.

"Y/n! Will you sit with me today during class? I need help with charms." asked Remus.

"Of course Remus, I'll be glad to help you." Y/n smiled and they entered class together.

Others were coming behind them. When all of the group entered the class they saw Tom Riddle standing there.

James gave Tom a disgusting look. And sat in his seat with Lily. Tom did not even look at him. But he looked at Y/n. Y/n did not even notice that because she was talking with Sirius.

"Hey, Y/n! Can I talk with you for a second?" Tom got closer to them so he and Y/n can talk. But Peter and Remus stopped him.

"You can not talk with her! Stay away from Y/n. We know that you want to hurt her!" Remus could not hold his rage when the talk was about Tom Riddle.

Then Sirius took Y/n's hand and friendly dragged her to her seat. "Don't communicate with him. He is dangerous."

"I know, you have told me that million times." she could not do anything. Y/n thought that Tom even does not like her. Her thoughts were overwhelmed by him.

"Y/n! Are you daydreaming?" Remus whispered to Y/n because he saw how Y/n zoned out.

Y/n was thinking about Tom. She noticed him trying to be nice to people but people always turned him away.

"No, I was just, I don't know." Y/n could not think of an excuse. She did not want to tell that she was thinking about Tom. Remus, and others would get mad at her. They all hate Tom.

"I know what you are thinking about. Don't worry about Tom, we won't let him hurt you." Remus thought that Y/n might be sad that Tom tried to talk with her, or maybe even bully her.

"Remus, but he was trying to be nice. I don't think he would hurt me." Y/n wanted to protect Tom. Her affection towards him won't let Y/n sit and listen to how others are talking bad about him. She was not the best at standing up for someone but she did not let it slide and go. She talked about it with Remus.

At the end of the class, Professor announced whose works were the best. Of course, it was Y/n and Remus's. Whoever worked in a group with Y/n, got the best grade.

When everyone was leaving Professor Flitwick stopped Y/n. "Can you wait for a little bit? I need to talk with you."

She waved goodbye to her friends and waited for Professor to speak. The weird thing for her was that Riddle also was in the class.

"Y/n, you are the best in my class and my lovely student Tom is struggling a little. He asked me to find someone to tutor him. And we both agreed that you will be a perfect match for that."

Y/n was a little confused. But she agreed because her kindness would not let her say no to helping someone.

"Nice! I'm glad you agreed." Professor Flitwick left. Y/n and Tom were standing in the hallway.
