20. I Still Love You

Info: Y/n and Lorenzo were dating for about 2 years. Everything was perfect, but one day they had a huge fight. They have not talked for days. They had a meeting with their friends to talk and understand what to do next.

"Why don't you break up with him?" said Pansy and looked at other girls who gathered to help Y/n make a decision.

"Yeah, it would be better for both of you," said Ginny and looked at Y/n.

"I know it's hard, but I think it's the best decision after all," concluded Hermione and also looked at Y/n.

"I don't know guys... I mean we had fought before and found a way to solve it." Y/n was unsure. This whole fight thing was stressing her out.

"Yeah, but this one is different, isn't it?" Luna asked worried Y/n.

"Yeah... We never fought this big. I said some things to him that I should have not said." She was sorrowful and full of regrets.

"He is not even perfect. I think breaking up is better." Pansy said while looking at the mirror and fixing her hair.

"You know the love is not when you love someone very much and see them as the most perfect person in the world," Y/n whispered.

"Then what is love?" asked Hermione. Others looked at Y/n waiting for her response.

"It's not love. It's something that most people think. But I imagine loving differently, very differently." Y/n was about to share her perspective on love.

Meanwhile with boys.

"This fight was different. I told things to her that I should have not said." Lorenzo said.

"I think you should break up with her bro," said Blaise while drinking a fire whiskey.

"Yeah I agree," said Draco and handed a fire whiskey to Lorenzo.

"But I think I still love her." Lorenzo said, "I'm not sure. It's complicated."

"What do you think of her? I don't think she is perfect, it's not love," said Mattheo and looked at the other boys who nodded.

"For me love is different. I have a different view on love," said Lorenzo and took a sip of a fire whiskey.

"Then tell us, bro. What do you think?" asked Tom and waited for an answer.

"For me, the love is when you love someone so much that often the things they do annoys you and you become mad at them," said Lorenzo

"But the anger does not stay long because you love them so much that you can't just be mad at them and don't talk with them." Y/n continued talking about love.

"When you love someone you notice every single tiny thing about them. You admire them in the way they are." continued Lorenzo.

"You love them with their imperfections. If you get mad at them, it doesn't last long because you remember things about them which makes happiness." while speaking Y/n thought about Lorenzo.

"They sometimes make you cry, anxious, depressed, but they also are the ones who can help you get out of that position." Lorenzo was talking and remembering Y/n.

"You sometimes hate them so much which makes you love them as strongly as possible. You get attached and understand them in every way." a couple of tears rolled down from Y/n's eyes.

"Even silence between you does not bother you and does not feel awkward," said Lorenzo and looked at his drink. "When you love someone you do not want to lose them. Loose anything about them, even their annoying characteristics." Lorenzo looked at the floor.

"I think I still love her." he finally said.

"When you love them you find every solution to problems between you because you love them and can't lose them." she wiped her tear and said.

"I think I still love him."

Lorenzo and Y/n left their friends and tried to find each other. They finally met up in the common room.

"Y/n, darling!" he hugged Y/n. "I am so glad to see you." He played with her hair. "I am so sorry. I should have not told you those things."

Y/n hugged him even harder and cried, "I love you too and can't let you go. I wasn't thinking when I told you those things. I'm sorry."

"It's okay sweetie. We are here together." Lorenzo still was hugging her.

"Yes..." Y/n did not want to let go. They hugged for ten minutes.

"They look so sweet," said Ginny.

"Yeah, why did we even suggest them to break up," said Pansy.

"Yeah, we were stupid guys," said Mattheo.

"We should learn from them what a real love is," said Tom.

They all looked at Y/n and Lorenzo.

In the evening everyone went to Hogsmeade and had a butter bear.
