Dimitri's Point of View

I sent Rose a letter every week. It has been four weeks already.Every letter had a poem in it. The first time I actually caught her eyes was when I accidentally bumped into her knocking all of her books out of her arms. Eddie saw the incident and told me later that that brunette was Rosemarie Hathaway. On the first letter that I wrote to her had 'Rosemarie H.' on it because I wasn't sure if her last name was Hathaway or Hamilton. But the second one I had wrote her full name on it because I was told that her last name was Hathaway.

Somehow after my second letter to her, I felt the urge to know what she was thinking when she read my letters to me. Although, she doesn't know it was me. A few weeks ago, Mason found out that she worked at Yazzie's Books and he bought two world history books. He got one for me and one for him. So far....the book has been pretty useful. Mason even asked her if she was single. You could imagine the excitement that was in Mason's eyes when he told me.

I was on my way to World History when Adrian walked past me patting my shoulder. I caught the smirk on his face. He obliviously knew something that I didn't. I had the hardcover World History book in my hand. I walked in and got into one of the backseats. Students filed in. I focused on the fountain pen that I used to write the letters to Rose.

All of the seats were full, except for the one in front of me.

"Umm......Mister Ingram...."

"Oh, you must be my new student. You signed for the extra World History class."

"Yes, I'm Rosemarie Hathaway."

My head shot up to the owner of that voice. It was her. Long dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Mister Ingram told her to grab a seat and as you all know, the only empty one was the one in front of me. As she looked for an empty seat, her eyes landed on me. She was the first to look away. She walked closer to me and her eyes flickered to my hardcover world history book that Mason bought. She sat down in front of me. We were so close that I could smell her perfume that she wore. It was not a strong smell, but it was the kind of smell that reminded you of a flower garden. She smelled like a rose. It really suited her. It was no surprised why her parents would name her Rosemarie.
