Rose's Point of View

"Sydney Sage, I am in love with you," I said, looking at my dress. It was so beautiful. She did a great job with her aunt. Missus Ellis-Little teared up and gave Sydney a hug. Gosh, she deserved much more than just a hug. 

Sydney looked proud when she took out the dress from its wrap. This dress costed two hundred and fifty dollars. It turned out that Sydney's aunt was a fashion designer and a part-time model. She was a gorgeous woman. She even discounted the price down when she found out that we were going to perform for a singing competition. But I believed that Sydney also persuaded her aunt somehow.

"I added some flowers to the dress and the sky blue against the black background will make Rose stand out," Sydney explained, adjusting the dress. Still in awe, I didn't hear the door opening. 

"Wow." I looked behind me and saw Lissa with her mouth opened.

I giggled and said, "Close your mouth, Lissa. You don't want a fly in there, trust me." She glared and scoffed walking to me. She looked at Sydney and then to the dress.
