The beautiful sound of my blaring alarm clock woke me up. For the first time in a while, I was well rested. It must have been the alcohol from last night. I made a mental note to remember that for later.

I turned off my alarm and groaned. Today was the day that I would get my first tattoo. I knew exactly what it was going to say: Se non hai mai pianto, i tuoi occhi non possono essere belli. (If you haven't cried, your eyes can't be beautiful.) My mom used to say it to me all the time. I knew when she passed that I had to get it tattooed on me.

I got dressed in a white tube top and some black cargo pants. I tied my hair into a messy bun and walked into our living room. Vic must have been still sleeping because our apartment felt empty. Even Chili, who is usually running around, was in Victoria's room.

I grabbed a banana and a coffee and walked out the door. As I was leaving, I sent Damaino a quick good morning text.

The bell on the door rang as I walked into the tattoo parlor. "Hello, how may I help you," the blonde lady at the counter said. "Hi, I'm Angelina Riva, I made an appointment a couple of days ago," I replied. She finds my name and asks me to follow her into the back room.

"Emilia will be here in a few minutes," the lady said, walking out. As she walks out, I get a phone call from Damiano. "Someone decided to wake up," I teased. "You're the crazy one for getting up so early," he said. "Hey, the early bird gets the worm," I replied. "I won't keep you long, but do you want to stay the night at my place?" he asked quickly.

I thought about it and said, "Sure."Great, and you're coming by the studio this afternoon?" He asked. "Yeah, why?" I asked suspiciously. He chuckled, "You'll see." As he said that, the lady walked in, "Look, I have to go, but I'll see you later, Dam." We said our goodbyes and hung up.

"I'm sorry about that," I apologized. "It's okay, now can you show me the design you want and where you want it," she said, pulling her chair up. I showed her the place on the top of my ribcage. She gave me a smirk, "You know this is going to hurt like a bitch?" I laughed, "I'm well aware."

And let me tell you as much as I thought I was prepared for the pain, I was most definitely not. It felt like a million wasp stabbing me at once. Though I was proud that I didn't scream or cry.

"Ok, I'm done," she says. I get up to take a look at it. "I love it," I tell her. I really do. It's a perfect way to always have my mom with me.

After that she bandaged the tattoo up and told me how to care for it. I went to the front desk and payed before walking over to the studio.

"Hello?" I said walking in. "In here," I heard Ethan yell. I walked onto the producing room and said, "Apparently Daminiano is coming by today, do you now what time?" Ethan laughed, "Yep we're all in for a big surprise." I gave him a skeptical look. "You'll see," he said.

I sighed, "Anyways I wanted to talk to you about becoming a producer, and what that would look like for me." "I'm not going to lie it will probably be very hard," he said truthfully. "I know it won't be easy, and I don't expect to be one right away, but what could I do to get more experience?" I asked.

I saw a small smile creep onto his face, "Well, we couldn't pay you anything, but you can come and be an intern here. You could help with the production of the album and get you some experience."

I felt my own lips curve into a smile, "That's an amazing opportunity, thank you!" I got up and gave him a hug. "Of course," he said. We separated just as the door opened revealing Thomas and Victoria.

"Where the fuck is Damiano," she said walking in. I shrugged,"No clue." Out of nowhere Damiano also walks into the room with their photographer. "Missed me," Damiano teases clamping his hands on Vic's shoulders. "Of course not asshole, now what are we doing here?" She asked.
