And so the next morning started again. Though this time, I was wearing a black corset top and some oatmeal colored pants. "Dressed for your date?" Vic asked, coming out of her room.

I turned around and asked, "How did you know?" "Damiano was telling me about it while you changed," she said. "That little bitch," I muttered. "What did he say?" I asked. "Ah, I guess you have to go on the date to find out," she said smiling. I gave her a smile back, and headed for the door. "I want details when you come home," she shouted after me. I chuckled, "Ofcourse."

It was slower at work today than yesterday. Normally I would be happy about it, but the hours just seemed to drag.

A couple of minutes before my shift ended, I went to retouch my makeup in the background. The store bell interrupted my retouch, and I ran to see who it was. "You might actually want to be here when a customer comes in," I heard a familiar voice say. I turn to see Damiano leaning on the front desk. "Well, we are about to close, and I was technically still in the building," I said grabbing my purse.

"You ready?" He asked, holding the door open. I nodded my head, and locked up. "Where to?" I asked. He smirked, "Follow me." I gave him a look of mock annoyance, and accepted his outreach hand.

We continued walking until we reached our first stop: Trevi. "Wow," I said watching the fountain. I turned to see Damiano watching me with a smile. "What?" I asked. He just shook his head, so I shrugged and turned around.

My gazing was interrupted by Damiano handing me three pennies. "Just through them into the fountain, and I will explain at the end," he said. I gave him a skeptical look, and threw each penny into the pond.

I turned back to Damiano to see that he was taking pictures of me. "Hey!" I said running towards him. "What?" He says giving me an innocent look. I glare at him, and he laughs. "C'mon grumpy, let's go get some gelato," he says taking my hand again.

"When are you going to tell me what those pennies were about?" I asked. "At the end of the date," he said. "And there is no way I can get you to tell me know," I asked giving him my best puppy eyes. He looked at me and chuckled, "You might be stubborn Angelina, but I think you have met your match."

I gave him a gasp of mock horror, "Never!" Damiano took one look at my face and busted out laughing, and I followed his oh so great example.

"This is it," Damiano said opening the door. As soon as I walked in the sweet smell of gelato hits me. "Hello, what can I get you two?" The nice lady behind the counter asks. Damiano looked at me with questioning expression and I said, "Could I get the raspberry." "And could I get a chocolate," Damiano asked.

The lady nodded and got our orders. I reached to get my card, but Damiano had beat me to it. As if he knew what I was going to say he said, "I asked you out so my treat." "How did you know that I was going to say that," I asked with suspicious eyes. "I don't know maybe it's my intuition," he said ominously.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "Come on," he said hugging me. I looked up at him, "Well, next time let me pay." He was about to say something, but then the lady called out our order.

We grabbed it and continued the walk. "How is your basic gelato," I said teasing him. He gave me hurt look, "How could you call the best flavor basic?" I rolled my eyes, "Because I can."

"With that attitude I might not take you to the last stop," He said. "Chocolate may be the best flavor of gelato," I said with mock enthusiasm. He smiled, "Much better."

After a few minutes I saw our last stop, the Collosseum. I looked at Damiano with big eyes, wide with excitement. "Keep your eyes in their sockets," he said chuckling. "It's so beautiful," I mused letting my eyes take it all in.

"I could never imagine growing up here," I said turning to him. "Yeah, I guess I am pretty lucky," he said. "Do you want me to take a picture?" He asked as I continued to walk around. I nodded, as he pulled out his phone.

I posed as he took a few pictures. "Take one of the two of us," I said pulling him next to me. He smiled and took the picture.

"You know, you never told me what the coins were about," I told him wrapping my arms around his neck. "Hmmm," he said snaking his arms around my back. "Tell me," I laughed.

He sighed and said, "The first coin was for you to came back to Rome." "And the second one," I said moving my head closer to his. "The second was to fall in love with an attractive Italian," he said smirking. I laughed, but urged him to continue. His eyes boared into mine as he said, "And the third is for you to marry that attractive Italian."

I looked into his eyes as I felt his breath on my face. My eyes fluttered shut as our lips meet. He smelt of chocolate and cigarette smoke. The kiss was sweet and it felt familiar, which was odd since I had only known him for two days.

After a few moments we broke away, and I looked up at him. "Let's see if your coins work," I said. "The outcome looks very good," he says, chuckling.

"Come on let's get you home," he said, slinging his arm over my shoulder. I checked my phone and saw that it was almost midnight. "Holy shit," I said. Damiano gave me a confused look. "It's almost midnight," I told him.

"And?" He said. "And, it's a good thing I don't have work tomorrow or I would be fucked," I said double checking.

We continued our bickering till we got to my apartment. "Thank you for tonight," I told him. "Of course, you let me live out my dream of being a tour guide," he said chuckling. I yawned in response. "Go to bed, I'll text you tomorrow," he said in a soft voice. "Goodnight Damiano," I said. "Goodnight, Angelina," He said giving me a peck on the check.
