CHAPTER 15.

I JUST STAYED SILENT as he pulled me to somewhere. His back was on me, and I just stares at it. His soft, black hair was swaying along the wind whenever he took a step forward, and I couldn't just ignore how smooth it glides on his nape.

It wasn't even that long since I got here in this school, but he already made me feel a lot of things that were unfamiliar to me. Being this observant, even with how his hair moves, was a part of it.

Observant naman talaga akong tao, that's part of the skills I needed to learn while training to be the next leader of Azarcon Family. My five senses were heightened in order for me to take advantage of enemies and not be able to get attacked by my enemies, too.

I never knew my observation skills would also include this-watching every detail about him.

The mind is powerful.

It has been a long time since I did it with someone because I was so busy with school and work.

"H-Huh?"

He smiled. He chuckled. "May problema ka ba? Baka kailangan mo ng kausap, o tagapakinig?"

I cleared my throat. "Wala!"

I didn't know where we were, but I knew we're far from school basing on how my feet felt sore from all that walking.

There were only a few houses here, puro mga puno lang na feel ko ay man-made dahil nakahilera nang maayos sa magkabilang gilid ng daan. There were also benches here.

Looking at how the skies were turning into a pinkish and orange-y red reminded me of the colors of the blood on my clothes everytime I finish a job before when I was still a member of the crew. The sun setting was my cue to start working because the night was our morning, and the morning was when we sleep.

"Halika! Baba tayo ro'n!"

This part of the lake was grassy, and I felt my legs started to feel itchy.

"Teka, makati," I said before I stopped walking and withdrew my hand from his grip. Then, I scratched my legs.

"Allergic ka ba sa grass?" He chuckled.

I scoffed. "What the hell? I'm not a--"

He sighed. "Sampa na kasi! Dami mo pang sinasabi. Sige ka, 'pag 'di ka pa sasampa, bubuhatin kita, bridal style. Gusto mo 'yon?" pang-asar niya.
