Always My Luna

    Everyone, minus the warriors that took Tamara away come over to the front of the cabin.  As the roof caves in, Levi comes around the corner, wearing Alpha Terrance's suit jacket.  She is immediately surrounded by two strong arms and lifted off the ground.  "Baby, you have no idea how happy I am to see you.  I thought I lost you." Damon crashes his lips to hers and is relentless in his kiss.  He lifts his head and look into her eyes, "I love you Levi Heart.  I love you so much it hurts."  Levi goes to say something but is cut short when Damon goes for another kiss that makes her toes curl.
   
    "Ok son, can the rest of us see her?"  Her uncle taps Damon on the shoulder.  His response is a growl as he keeps kissing Levi.  She has to tap him on the shoulder and he whines a bit but comes up for air.  She's left gasping for air and looks over at her papa and uncle.  She smiles wide and asks Damon to please put her down.  He slowly lets her down and she runs to her papa and hugs him. 
   
    Tears are flowing freely down her cheeks.  "Papa, the Moon Goddess told me about mom and dad and Claire and I.  Did you know?"  Her papa just winks at her, "I was sworn to secrecy, sweetheart.  I was under an order not to tell.  Plus, things may have turned out so much differently if I told you." 
   
    Levi smiles and hugs her papa, "It's ok papa.  I understand about keeping things secret."  She lets her papa go and looks back at Damon.  Slowly walking up to him, she takes his large left hand into her smaller ones and smiles up at him, "When I found out I was your mate, I was so happy, but then I remembered the way you treated me.  How you would flaunt your girls in front of me, like it was on purpose.  And then that whole thing with Tamara came to be and my heart was so destroyed that I didn't know if I ever wanted a mate.  At my birthday, I thought for sure you would smell me and know I was your mate and accept me, but you didn't.  I had to leave.  I couldn't stay and watch you be with her all because I couldn't accept your rejection.  I know you didn't know, so before you say it, I know already.  But you hurt me so deep, I didn't want to even be with my own pack because everything would remind me of you, of what could have been, what should have been." 
   
    Damon looks down at the ground and places a hand on top of hers.  Her hands completely disappear within his.  "I wish I was strong enough when my father and Alpha Ralph came to me with all this union bullshit.  I wish I had said no.  I always knew you were my mate, but when I turned 18, I could smell you.  You smelled amazing, the most wonderful scent of gardenia and toffee, sensual and sweet.  Just like you, my beautiful mate.  I was told by my father that you were special and that I would put you in danger if we became mates and that I needed to forget about it and accept Tamara as my chosen mate. No matter how much I wanted you, and I wanted you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I couldn't have you.  So, I pushed you away.  It killed me.  To not see your smile looking at me, not have you around me, not hug you, smell your scent but I had to be an asshole to chase you away.  I knew as soon as you turned 18 you would know we were mates.  I had Tamara come to the school and I knew she would rub it in your face and that it would hurt you.  Goddess, I didn't want to, I wanted it to be where you notice my scent before you saw me and then you me, standing, waiting for you.  Then the party came and I couldn't believe it was still happening.  You shifted and Tamara thought I really wanted her, but I didn't, I just followed through with the semantics of being a couple.  I actually couldn't stand her, but I had to protect you.  I have been so deeply in love with you, Levi Heart, since we were just little."
   
    Levi blushes and takes out one of her hands and places it on top of Damon's larger on and looks up at him, smiling.  She opens her mouth to say something, but Damon is afraid she is going to turn him down, so he quickly adds in, "Remember that day when we were at the park, Justine and Dom were building sand castles in the sandbox and Ryan pretended to be Godzilla and stomped on them, growling and making a horrible sound that he said was his Godzilla roar.  It sounded more like a cat in heat,". Everyone around hearing vicinity starts laughing except for Ryan.
   
    "Hey, I did a damn good Godzilla roar. What are you talking about?  Damn cat in heat bullshit."  Justin elbows him and shakes his head, Dom leans over so Ryan can see him and shakes his head.  "You know what?  Fuck you all."  He starts to walk away, sulking, then suddenly turns around and runs up to Levi.  He grabs her and twirls around with her in his monstrous arms, the puts her down so she is facing him and kisses the top of her head, "I am so happy you are ok and alive.  You're like a sister to me, to Justin and Dom too.  When we thought you were..well..you know..our hearts were shattered.  But no one's heart was more shattered than this guy's."  Ryan pats Damon on the shoulder, "I've never heard mush anguish come out of him, or seen him crumble so fast as his did when we realized you were in there and we couldn't get to you.  I can honestly say, Damon would not have survived if you..you know."  Ryan just couldn't bring himself to say if Levi had perished in the fire and left them to go to the Moon Goddess. 
   
    None of them could say it.  To say it, makes it real and they really almost lost Levi.  She reaches up and gives Ryan a kiss not the cheek.  Justin and Dom rush in and hug, spin her around and kiss her head or forehead.  Happy smiles and laughter is heard between them, when there is a sudden scream and loud grunts. 
   
    Tamara is running out of the SUV with a large knife, used by the warriors in times of war and also for protection since they were protecting members of the wolf council.  The two warriors stumble out of the SUV one holding his stomach, the other drops to the ground and his hand falls away from his throat.  He is already gone, Tamara had slit his throat and stabbed the other, who was close to not making it. 
   
    Levi's papa checks the one with the sliced neck and confirms he is already past, then goes over to check the other warrior and yells for something to hold over the wound.  There's a loud scream and Scarlet jumps out from behind an SUV, she has Emma and Becky with her.  Unfortunately, the scream Scarlet tipped Tamara off, and she turns the knife towards Scarlet.  Scarlet can't stop the momentum of her jump and lands straight on top tip of the knife, impaling herself. 
   
    Tamara swiftly takes out the knife and stands there looking at a wide eyed Scarlet who's holding her stomach.  Tamara starts laughing while Ryan roars and runs over to Scarlet.  He holds her in his arms, crying and telling her sweet words, "It's ok baby, you will be ok.  Just don't close those beautiful eyes, keep looking at me.  Let me see them.  No, No, Scar, baby, keep looking at me."  He lowers his head and kisses her parted lips.
   
    She whispers something to him and he tells her he can't hear her, his sorrow and his wolf's sorrow is messing with his hearing as wolves have incredible hearing.  "I wanted to tell you, you were going to be a dad. I wanted to tell you at our graduation.  I'm sorry.  I'm sorry so Ryan.  I love you so much.  Tell Levi I'm so sorry."  Scarlet places her hand on Ryan's cheek and it falls away.
   
    Ryan let's our a roar that is filled with anger, sorrow and heartbreak.  He looks over at a hysterical Tamara. "I am going to kill you, you crazy bitch." 
   
    'Claire, I think this is best opportunity we will have to use our powers.  Let's quickly change what happened, bring the warriors back and we HAVE to bring Scarlet back.  She's our best friend and so is Ryan.  We can't let this psycho do this to our friends, to us.'  Levi tells Claire.
   
    Claire is in full agreement.  Levi closes her eyes and raises her arms.  Tamara stops laughing and looks over at Levi, "what is she doing?  What the fuck is she doing?  You can't change things, bitch!  WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
   
    Tamara runs up to Levi but she is tackled by Justin and Dom and they unarm her by twisting her wrist to the point that it cracks.  Alpha Ralph comes up to the three and pulls Tamara out.  Just when everyone thinks he is protecting her, he tells one of the warriors to get the chains out of the SUV.  The warrior comes up to them wearing gloves as the chains are silver and coated in wolfs bane.  Alpha Ralph holds Tamara as she screams and fights her dad's hold while the warrior chains her feet first and then chain her hands behind her back.  She screams from the pain and burning skin but also that she cannot move and her plan is ruined.  "I AM THE LUNA!  DAMON, TELL THEM, YOU LOVE ME, I LOVE YOU, I AM YOUR LUNA!  I AM THE LUNA!"
   
    The warrior locks her up in the SUV and you can still hear her screams of being the Luna.  Ryan is still holding Scarlet who is barely breathing, the wounded warrior is starting to slowly heal, the other warrior is bleeding out, but his heart beat is so faint, it's barely there. 
   
    Suddenly, the wind picks up and dust starts to blow around them all, but it's not blowing in their faces, it's created a dome around the entire area.  Levi's arms are out to her side, her nose is bleeding, her eyes are closed.  Levi claps her hands together above her head a bright light consumes her, Damon rushes to get to her, but the light dims and Levi, is gone.
