Found some peace of mind
After a long time
Hoping it's not temporary
Feels like September in February
Doesn't pain my heart anymore
Looking at you not wanting to implore
Afraid to ruin what we already have
Learnt to hold myself back
The bond that we have
Is something even chemistry can't explain
Sometimes you're the easiest to talk to
Even when it's complicated only because of you
Something I'm thankful to you for
Is teaching me the value of self love
Could write you a poem everyday
About how much I admire you in every way
