In Kings Landing gardens, Sansa and Margaery sit with a sumptuous meal, watching Loras and Valen spar. "She's such a splendid fighter," Sansa said in awe as she watched the young Baratheon disarm Loras effortlessly.

"Yes, many are beginning to call her one of the best swordsmen in Westeros. A title not easily won," Margaery pointed out. "As Valen's ward, I'm guessing you will accompany her to Storms End?" she asked.

Sansa frowns and shakes her head, "Joffrey won't let me leave. He's got too many reasons to keep me here," she explained.

Margaery smiled, "And only one to let you go. Because it will please me," she said, surprising Sansa.

"You would do that for me? Why?" Sansa asked in disbelief. Before Margaery could answer, she was interrupted by her brother's voice.

"Squire!" he yelled. A squire rushes over to Loras and Valen with two goblets of wine. Loras takes his goblet, but Valen waves hers off, surprising her friend. "When did you stop drinking wine?" Loras asked.

                    "....After Renly's death," Valen admitted.

Loras frowns and touches her shoulder, "I miss him too," he says tearfully. A king's guard walks forward, gaining their attention.

He bows to Valen, "Princess, the Hand of the king wishes to see you in his chambers," the guard explained.

Valen glances over at Sansa, "Don't worry, I'll keep her safe," Loras says.

A few minutes later, Valen knocked on the door leading to her grandfather's chambers. "Come in," Tywin said from the other end. Valen entered the room seeing her mother sitting at a table with her grandfather. Valen grows slightly uneasy as she sits down at the table. "Your mother believes that you're friends. The Tyrells are plotting to marry Sansa Stark to Ser Loras," Tywin explained. Valen forces herself not to laugh.

"Very well. She's a lovely girl for a Northerner," Valen said nonchalantly, ignoring her mother's stare.

Tywin clenched his jaw in anger, "I bring them into the royal fold, and this is how they repay me by trying to steal the key to the North out from under me," he spat.

"Sansa is the key to the North? I seem to remember she has an older brother," Valen pointed out.

"The Karstarks have marched home. The young wolf has lost half his army. His days are numbered. Theon Greyjoy murdered both his brothers. That makes Sansa Stark the heir to Winterfell. And I am not about to hand her over to the Tyrells," Tywin explained.

Valen thinks for a minute, "Then why don't we find Sansa Stark, a different spouse?" she asked, catching her grandfather's interest.

He rubs his chin in thought, "Once She's flowered, you will wed her, bed her, and put a child in her. Surely you're capable of that," Tywin said, surprising Cersei.

"She will not!" Cersei spat, causing her father to give her a chilling look.

"Valen will do as she's bid. As will you," he said.

Confusion filled Cersei's eyes, "What do you mean?" she asked.

"You'll marry Ser Loras," Tywin ordered.

                    "I will not," she refused.

"The boy is heir to Highgarden. Valen will secure the North. You will secure the Reach," he explained.

"No, I won't do it!" Cersei said.

"Yes, you will. You're still fertile. You need to marry again and breed," Tywin ordered.

"I am Queen Regent, not some broodmare," she spat.

"You're my daughter! You will do as I command, and you will marry Loras Tyrell and put an end to the disgusting rumors about you once and for all," he said.

"Father, don't make me do it again, please," Cersei begged. Tywin slams his fist on the table and rises.

"Not another word. You've disgraced the Lannister name for far too long," he spat, then walked out. Valen stands up and turns to leave.

"Don't think I don't know this is exactly what you wanted," Cersei spat coldly. Valen turns towards her mother.

"What can I say? I learned from the best," she said in a cold tone.

The next day in King's Landing gardens, Sansa and Valen walk by a garden pool. Sansa smiles big as she holds onto the young Baratheon's arm. "I feel like I'm in a dream. I've always wanted a large wedding since I was quite young," she admitted.

Valen smiles, "I never thought I would ever actually get married, considering my condition," she explained. Sansa was still surprised by finding out how she and Valen could marry, but she wasn't disgusted by it as Valen had thought. She knew the young Baratheon would treat her better than any man. "I'm sure you will love Storms End. It has a beautiful view of the sea, and the rain storms can be so comforting while lying in bed," Valen explained. On a balcony Tyrion and Cersei watch Sansa and Valen from afar.

"You should be happy for Valen. Sansa is a lovely girl, and I'm sure she will be a great mother," Tyrion said. A look of disgust washes over Cersei at the words.

"Or we could have her killed," she said coldly.

Tyrion takes a sip of his wine, "Though Loras will certainly come to know a deep and singular misery," he joked.

"Father doesn't discriminate. We're all being shipped off to hell together," Cersei spat, then headed back inside.
