Jimmy had been staring the makeshift mirror for an ungodly amount of time by now,he was checking himself out but not in a good way and he probably never would

A sigh escaped his lips as he backed away,large wings fluffed up slightly as a cold breeze flew past him in the open house,if it could even be considered that

The canary quickly covered the mirror before quickly turning around and leaving the house,as long as he didn't see himself he would see what he really was

Outside was nice with the bright sun up high in to clear blue sky which made him forget about the fact that at any point he could be killed or his time could run out,literally

Slowly,the golden yellow wings opened simply too enjoy the moment even if he couldn't fly like he was used too back in different servers

The sound of shouting reached his ears,coming from the right side so the blonde walked over over and peered down only too see his teammates with a few others

A grin made its ways too the blondes face and just as he was about too grab his water bucket,the avain caught sight of his husbands so without warning he jumped off,his wings flapping as if it'll help despite not being able too fly

"Scott,catch me!" Yelled Jimmy as he got closer which caused all eyes on him and panic in the entire group before the cyanette reached his hands out and successfully caught the bird,a smile on both faces "Hiya Petal"

The blonde was put down as Grian checked he was okay before lightly punching him in the arm,clearly being playful despite their situations "Where were you? You were up there for a while" spoke up Joel as he leaned in the shorter birds avain's shoulder

Suddenly Jimmy froze up as he stepped back "Just uh- Checking myself out y'know?" Quickly he put his arms out too gesture too the wings that had once again puffed up "Gotta make these bad boys look good" the blonde did finger guns at the mini joke of their name

Scott was the first and possibly the only one,too notice the slight changes in Jimmys appearance and how it was his feathers,some of the back ones now had a green tint at the bottom of them

Now,the man had seen and read his fair share of magic appearance changes but he also knew about the Watchers and Listeners,thanks to Martyn after the dark blonde had accidentally spilled the secrets

Suddenly,the green life pulled the other towards him "Me and Jim have something to do but we'll see you guys later" Etho raised an eyebrow however simply nodded in response while a chorus of 'bye's' are what they got from the others

The two ran off into the forest but not far enough that they would get lost so,the cyanette forced the blonde too sit down on the floor beside him

"Scott? What's going on?" Asked the canary while the others hands made their way to rest on his cheeks,causing him too immediately relax and accidentally let some of his glamour fall,revealing even more fully green feathers as well as some smaller eyes littered on his face and multiple more pairs of ears

Silence flowed between the two before the listener sat up and his wings fully extended,pushing away the water obsessed man before stumbling back "Wait you shouldn't—why did I—oh god" Jimmy wrapped the large wings around him,starting too pluck at his feathers

Panic started too set in at the sight,his husband was sat infront of him with his wings wrapped around him,a bit of blood starting too appear from the plucking

Slowly,the taller took a breathe in before slowly gliding his fingers through the feathers which caused them too slowly open too reveal Jimmy,tears streaming down his face which only broke Scott's heart more

"Jimmy,petal....I already knew,Martyn had accidentally exposed you guys" a soft chuckle found it's way into air as the cyanette took the blondes hands into his own "Even if he didn't,I wouldn't care" a grin eventually made its way too his face "You're still my husband,no matter what"

With that,he pulled him closer and started kissing around the shorters face which only made the canary let out a string of laughter as he slowly but surely got his glamour back and fully turned back,even if it was just a few small details that had escaped

They both pulled away however the two of them kept their head against each other,listening to the sounds around them of people and animals even the clicking of the clocks provided some comfort

"I love you" Jimmy whispered into the air which caused a small airy chuckle too slip past Scott's lips "I love you too,canary" with that they stayed there,not bothering to run back to the others and just wanting to spend time with each other
