The first hug was the most expected, as Pearl walked around the frog tower touching up the blown up ground from creepers and other various people. Pearl replanted some dirt that got messed up BigB sneaks up behind her, crouching down and swinging his arm around her shoulder. The silent hug made Pearl jump a bit but before she could say anything BigB was walking away to do something nosy.

The second hug was from Joel, Pearl was messing around with Jimmy dancing around the Bad Boy Bread Bridge taunting him. When Jimmy yelled saying he was going to go get Grian she laughed. She knew nothing would happen, but as her back was turned a certain smallish man snuck up behind her. Joel throws his arms under Pearl's armpits. Lifting an unexpected Pearl up hugging her from behind. Pearl swings her arms and legs around throwing Joel off balance and accidentally falling backwards. Pearl who sat up first turned around to question the man only to see he passed by her running to where Jimmy had ran off to with no words.

The next hug was from Tango, Pearl was hanging out around the ocean just sitting in the trees, not really being nosy or watching. Just being calm, when Pearl looked down to see an apple she jumped down. Apples were quite rare just as animal meat, so every chance for food Pearl wouldn't hesitate to take it just in case. As she picked up the apple and stood up straight to wipe any excess dirt on the apple she was then tackled to the grown. Taking a mouth full of dirt she was ready to attack whoever was above her but she took a second to realize a slim tail was curled around her leg. Pearl tilts her head to the side to see none other than Tango curling his feet and arms around her body, stuffing his head in between her shoulder and neck. Pearl was gonna ask Tango what the hell he was doing, but she stopped when she heard sniffling. She stayed there laying with Tango curled around her. Not knowing why but she was somehow content with the situation.

Scar is well, Scar. It's to no one's surprise when the man does something big and eccentric. But Pearl is actually caught off guard by the man. Strutting with a wooden cane with gold detailings on it, Scar and his yellow glasses and blue collared shirt yelled up to Pearl who was sitting on a window of the mansion. Pearl jumps down with a water bucket making the bucket while simultaneously scaring the other. Pearl raises her eyebrows and waits for whatever sales pitch Scar was going to ramble about. What she wasn't ready for was for Scar to reach out his can and take out the back of her knee. Tumbling down towards Scar he reaches for Pearl's blue hoodie and drags her in, wrapping his arms around her neck in a warm accepting hug. Pearl ends up gripping Scars collared shirt gripping it tight making her knuckles go white, yet the hug does end. Scar pulls back first and smiles, a gentle one. And walks away.

Waking up In the morning looking up at the sun wasn't what Pearl had expected, she must've fallen asleep during her stargazing. She blinks for a while before an angel? Appears before her. She rubs her eyes to see the angel better, oh wait. It's just Skizz. The man smiles at the sleepy Pearl before leaning down to quickly hug the sleepy girl, he whispers something to her. Perhaps a compliment? She knows he's doing that for people. But she can't hear him clearly, the thing about Skizz is he's much warmer than the cold grass. So Pearl can't help but curl into him, soaking in the warmth of the angel.

The next time she woke up was with a mouth full of feathers, red and yellow. As she opens her eyes she sees nothing but her brother cuddling with her. That makes sense why parrot feathers are in her mouth, but what about the yellow ones?.. Pearl tilts her head to the left to see Jimmy big spooning her. Both the birds are sleeping; she refuses to move, just soaking in the cuddling. She knew when the two would wake up they would refuse to be cuddling anyone or anything. So she would just let it happen, only this once.

The next hug was a group hug, Pearl couldn't help but be weirded out by the fact everyone is randomly hugging her. It's almost like an itch she can't just get to, she doesn't really know why it's happening. But first she did want to make sure Tango was okay. She didn't forget the one night with Tango but when coming in front of T.I.E.S she sees Etho and Impulse on top of the dirt tower they had made for Skizz being yellow. When Etho looks down and notices Pearl she sees Impulse look down at her, she watches them turn to the bubble elevator and drop down to the very bottom of the building. She walks to the side of the crooked tower getting to the actual opening. There she was overwhelmed with two dad hugs, Etho and Impulse basically engulfed her with large hugs. Then they stop, they pull back obviously embarrassed and walk away from her to Etho's creeper farm. Pearl leaves knowing she isn't gonna get her answers on Tango for a while.

In the caves was the place Pearl thought she never would be hugged. But when Cleo pops up and runs right to the girl to take her down in an aggressive yet mom fashion hug she is surprised. No matter how many people hug her Pearl cannot understand why. Cleo had put her right hand under Pearl's head to protect it and Cleos head ended up falling onto Pearl's stomach. With her arms in a starfish position Pearl stays, she lifts up her left hand to put it on Cleo's head. Maybe, maybe she could get used to this.

Scott. Poisonous yet beautiful, a poison apple. Pearl stared down at Scott, sitting on the beach house rails he had made she can only have a sense of Deja Vu with Scott. She's avoided him so far, not liking the nauseous Deja Vu. Pearl's eyes stalk Scott as he walks up to Pearl. Now side to side, facing each other. One sitting, one standing. Scott made the first move. Hesitant yet willing Scott side hugs Pearl, awkward yet affectionate. Scott seems almost regretful. Pearl doesn't understand really. But she knows. She knows somehow everyone who's hugged her needs some sort of comfort. So for once, Pearl relaxes voluntarily. And hugs Scott back.
