While the pogues spent their afternoon at Redfield Lighthouse and running from the police, Scarlett was tasked with entertaining herself for the day. She would have liked to be hanging out with Sarah, who was quickly becoming her new best friend, but the blonde was busy running errands for her dad.

The brunette didn't want to spend the day cooped up inside of her aunts house so she decided to visit the cut, more specifically her dad's old restaurant. Scarlett had been meaning to stop by and introduce herself. She remembered her dad saying that his friend who bought the restaurant had a daughter the same age. Scarlett needed all of the friends she could get especially considering that the boys didn't seem to be ope to making up.

If she didn't make any friends besides Sarah, she was going to be in for one boring summer.

The Wreck, formerly Campbell's, was bustling with life when the brunette entered. It seemed like the locals still loved the place as much as they had when her family owned it.

Walking up to the bar, she saw a tall good-looking man drying off some glasses, while a woman stood a few feet away working the cash register.

Scarlett awkwardly walked closer to the man, assuming that he was the new owner. She recognized him even though he looked slightly older than the pictures she'd seen of him and her father together when they were teens.

"Are you Mike?" The brunette questioned.

"Yeah." He nodded grabbing a notepad thinking she wanted to order. "First time here? I can tell you all about our specials for today."

"Oh um I'll just take a burger." She smiled not wanting to be impolite by not ordering anything and seeming rude.

"Are you sure? We are at a seafood restaurant." Mike asked with a smirk.

"Yeah, I'm kind of over seafood." The teen laughed. "It was basically all I ate growing up."

"A burger it is!" He grinned turning towards the small window that opened to the kitchen. "Hey Kie! I need a burger out here!"

Scarlett guessed this was probably the part where she went to find a seat and wait for her food but she continued standing in the same spot. Mike noticed the girl glancing curiously around the restaurant, taking in all of its decorations.
