August 6th 1983.

Another week full of stupid dates, nights out with Terry and a lot of lectures from grandma, I had finally found a day to relax. But no, I had completely forgotten the fact that Michael wanted to bring me with him to Brian's football game. As long as Jessica wasn't there, I was all good with going.

My phone rung loudly just the second I stepped in my room. I literally had a towel wrapped around my head and was in nothing but underwear. B/N was out with Elizabeth, mainly because he had no other friends but it was actually quite sweet seeing them have similar interests. Grandma is literally fuming at the thought of us hanging out with the Afton's but the relationships have gone so far that she can't stop them anymore.

I groaned, picking up the phone. "Hello?"

"Y/N! Hey girl." Terry greeted excitedly and immediately my entire day brightened. I smiled.

"Hey Terry! What's up?" I asked happily, laying down on my bed.

"You busy? Michael called me saying something about a football game? Are you going? I don't usually go to stuff like that." She questioned lowly, I squinted my eyes in confusion for a moment before the realisation hit me.

"Shit... I forgot all about the game, uhm yeah. Mike invited me to a football game, you wanna come? I just want a bit of company since Michael's friends will be there." I explained, taking a deep breath.

"Oh! Michael's friends...?" She asked hesitantly again.

"It'll only be Anissa and his other friend, I won't let them insult you I promise." I reassured her, I heard her release a heavy breath.

"Okay good because if they do, I'm sending your ass straight back to California."

"Where's Brian? That chicken hasn't shown up yet." Zach questioned, glancing around the stadium. We were at the school field, several people crowding the area, seating themselves on the stands surrounding the large field. It was quite a hot day, for August especially, many bystanders were standing around in shorts and tiny shirts that barely covered anything. I even noticed a group with a paint message across their chests.

"He's probably around here somewhere, he's literally one of the players." Anissa replied with a sigh. Michael squeezed my hand gently as we walked through the crowd, coming to a stop just beside the entrance to the stands.

"Why is it so packed? its just a football game." Terry complained behind me, Zach laughed.

"Do you not know anything about this? Why come in the first place?" He laughed loudly, shaking his head. I glared at him through the corner of my eye.

Terry just simply rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, turning her head to face me. She smiled at me weakly but that smile faded the second her eyes met someone behind me.

"Michael! You're here!" Jessica squealed, throwing her hands around him. I groaned, clenching my fists.

"Oh hey Jess." Mike replied flatly, Zach grinned widely and wiggled his eyebrows at Mike. I chewed on my lip, so hard that I was convinced it started bleeding. Why the hell did I come?!

"Oh uhm, and you guys." She greeted sarcastically, glaring at me and Terry. Terry scoffed loudly, eyeing her up and down.

"Jess, you seen Brian? He said he was gonna be near the drink stands." Zach questioned, glancing around the field. Jessica shrugged, gazing at Michael lovingly, twirling her hair around her finger. That bitch.
