A/N: I'm going to start this saying that I absolutely hate poetry but it's required.

The greenery around her was burning ablaze,
And trying to traverse the fire was like a maze,
But she knew this situation was dire.
So despite her fixation with the fire,
She continued on with lone desire.
As charred trees fell on new ones grown,
She continued on with a heart of stone.
When she arrived her hope was gone,
but on the slope a small chicken sat alone.
With her beloved pet finally found,
She let herself fall on the ground.
Despite the burning embers that she seemed to forget,
Having yet to be met with the feeling of panic,
She laid there surrounded by a forest set fire.
Still she found herself unable to care,
about herself or the chicken she felt bound to save.
So she lay there it what would be their grave,
Surrounded by the burning forest bare and eternal.
As they were shut in the circle of flame,
Their lives had ended as soon as they had came.
