March story prompts

A/N: these tend to be very diverse in topics so just assume every monthly story prompts may turn dark sometime during that month. Also these are very chaotic.

"Image of a hot air balloon in the sky"
Lexi looked over the edge of the balloon to see the clouds surrounding her. Now a normal person would have thought the view was beautiful and kept staring, but Lexi wasn't a normal person and she was terrified of heights. If she was being honest, the only reason that she was in the hot air balloon in the first place was because she never got the chance to refuse before she was shoved into the balloon and sent up in the air. Leaning over the edge lexi felt the basket she was in tilt at her body weight, before the whole basket was flipped upside down and lexi was falling through the air, landing with a splat on the ground.

"Image of a monkey in a hot spring"
Mr. Davidson was a monkey who got bored often, and sometimes when he had nothing better to do with his life, he would visit the local hotspring to give out great advice to strangers. One day Mr. Davidson was doing exactly that. He had approached his new victim who was relaxing peacefully in the hot spring, and screeched at the man "evolve from monke, become crab!" before turning into a crab and crab dancing away pinching at the air.

"It was a revolution"
It was a revolution, everything was in chaos and anarchy. There were rouge humans running around all over chasing the squirrels that were their previous masters. The squirrel counsel had known this would happen one day, but they didn't expect it to come so soon. Jon sat on his throne above all the others watching the chaos unfold, everything was going exactly as he had planned.

"Image of a crane"
Craige the crane was a mean old bird. He hated everything, and the only thing that brought him true happiness was singing the Quadratic formula to his best friend snickle the pickle. Because of this, Craige could often be found reciting the verses "X is equal to negative B, plus or minus the square root..." over and over again to a rotting pickle.

"Think and wonder..."
Sometimes I think and wonder what I am even doing with my life anymore? Why am I sitting here actually trying when in the end it's all going to lead to nothing. I mean hear me out, we are all going to die in the end anyway why are we forced to all do the same boring repetitive thing every single day when we could be doing all sorts of other exciting things and seeing the wonders of the world instead, but no we are all stuck here in the same routine every day repeating the same old thing over and over again.

"A person's a person, no matter how small"
My best friend has always been short. Our friends are always calling her things like names based on her height and it's always so funny because she, like most people who are vertically challenged, tends to get angry with this teasing. Now as someone who also is often called short, I have never really understood why people think that someone's height could be an insult. After all, a person's a person, no matter how small. Although I do understand the frustration shown when being called short.

"You'll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut."
Lily had always gone through life with her eyes closed. She had lived a sheltered life with overprotective parents and they hadn't wanted her to see the terrible things the world had to offer, so they had told her that she had to always keep her eyes shut tight. That had all changed when she met jane. She had never actually known Jane's real name, but the doctors had called the girl Jane when she heard them talking about her. Lily had only really spoken to jane once really and she would never forget what she told her,  "You'll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut." and so lily finally saw the world though open eyes fot the first time in her life.
