This was also wrote with Jules and two of our other freinds. I'm not sure if they want me to mention their names, so for privacy reasons I'm not going to say there names.

There was suspicious of the tall, dark stranger dressed all in black. He wore dark shades and carried a long, rectangular suitcase, and he came to visit my parents once a week, but always at night. One night, the stranger came to my house when my parents were out. Being the curious type, I invited him in. Without a word, he came inside and opened his suitcase. It was full of paints, rolled up canvases, and an easel. Finally, the stranger said, “I am the Painter of Dreams. For free, I will paint a world that offers you the dream you desire and the challenge you need. When the painting is complete, you may enter that world…”

“Do you promise not to hurt me?” I asked, if he wanted to, he would have done it by now. I thought to myself.

“Why would I hurt you? I am giving you a gift of freedom, no more strict parents, and no more rules.” said the strange man.

He took off his black coat and hat and I felt something off about his appearance. I remembered seeing his face on the news, at that time there were a series of unexplained happenings. It was a bad time for this town, people were going missing every day.

“Take my hand and I'll make your deepest desires come true.” the man in front of me said as I took his hand and said “I can choose anything I want?” I asked. “Yes, but this is not to be taken lightly. Once you enter it, there is no changing it.” he said somberly.

“Is it dangerous? You said this wouldn't hurt me.” I asked.

        His face darkened. He hesitated.

“It, in fact, is very perilous. But depending on your desires it won't hurt you. ”

I nodded, taking in the sudden information.

As he started painting I watched him paint an exquisite sunset with a little house with a forest behind it. It looks so peaceful, I thought to myself as my world turned dark, I opened my eyes and saw the world of the painting before me. Then I saw my parents, except they looked off, they had a look of disappointment and hatred painted on their faces. Suddenly, the man appeared. “I told you, it is very perilous depending on your desires.” he said with a smirk on his face.

“What are you going to do to me?” I asked

“Me? Why I’m not going to do anything, your parents are.”  He said with a murderous grin on his face.

Then he disappeared without a trace. As soon as he left, my parents started running at me, I needed to flee fast. I ran out of the little house and into the forest. I kept running and somehow they kept catching up. Just keep running I thought to myself, you need to keep going. But to my horror that didn't help at all. They had found me and as I rounded at a dead end. He was there waiting for me and as I stopped he grinned at me as he began to rip away my skin off, piece by piece. That wasn't the end. I woke up again and it all happened over and over. It just kept repeating, a never ending torture.

As the cycle just kept on repeating, I knew there was nothing I could do to stop or change it. The never ending pain, I couldn't stop it. I knew I'd be stuck there forever, with no end in sight.
