Chapter 8 : Alexa

Camilla

We officially arrived, i could feel anxiety forming up. I was shaking and sweating. I know Gabi noticed and i think she felt guilty forcing me to come. But i would do anything for her. If it meant her and Noah finally talking to each other.

"Ok we're here." Liam said taking out his car keys.

"This will be fun." Sure it will.

While we were walking to Lucas' house Gabi pulled me to the side.

"Cami i know this is scary for you, i regret bringing you but we won't stay for long." she said with a calming smile while holding my hand gently.

I honestly think the only person that can calm me down is Gabs.

"Ok thank you." i said blowing her a kiss.

"CAMILLA, GABRIELLA!"
I heard Daisy screaming.

"Comingggg."

We were at the front door, i was holding Gabi's hand and she didn't let go even though my hands were sweaty. That's a true friend.

"Hey Lucas." Liam said doing that weird guy hand shake thingy.

Me Daisy and Gabs were awkwardly standing there looking stupid.

"Come in guys."

I think we were early, barely any people were here probably only two.

"You can sit." Lucas said with a welcoming smile, sadly i didn't feel welcomed knowing tonight will fuck me up.

I could smell alcohol already, hopefully I won't drink a lot but I say that every time and end up drinking.
We were chatting a bit when the door bell rang.
My heart. I felt like i was gonna have a heart attack. I hope my makeup is ok from all the sweat.

"Hey Noah,"

Gabi froze, she already started going pink and was sinking into her seat That made me feel better somehow.
Noah came into the living room greeting everyone.
Gabi was starting a conversation with me I'm guessing to avoid him when he literally invited us.

"Hey Gabs, you look nice."
He said coming to sit next to her.

"Heyy, thanks."
She tried to play it cool and it worked. Proud of my girl.

The door bell rang again.

And of course it was Tyler.

"Oh hey Tyler." Lucas said sounding a bit disgusted, no one likes you dude.

"Hey." He said walking with another girl, probably one of his side chicks.
He gave me a glare probably surprised why i'm here then came sat next to me, i almost threw up from being anxious. I could practically hear Liam roll his eyes.
I could tell from the corner of my eye he was slowly getting closer to me, and i was so uncomfortable. He was barely giving any attention to his girl .
But i distracted myself and had a convo with Gabi and Noah. To be honest i like Noah he's a gentlemen, he reminds me of my brother so i wasn't bothered by him liking Gabi. Lucas is ok I guess, he's funny which makes him decent. But all the other hockey players disgust me.

Some other people came after a few minutes then it rang again.
Lucas went to get it, i could tell he had enough of opening the door.

"Heyyy Carlos your finally here."

Oh shit.

Not him. I was casually looking at my blue acrylics.

"Hey Lucas, yeah sorry i'm late."

I whispered to Gabi.
"Gabi start a convo with me so i look distracted."

She immediately got what i meant and gave me a nod, i was so relieved .

I tried to contain eye contact with her but i couldn't help glaring at Carlos a tiny bit. When he came i saw someone with him

Out of all the girls, her????
Alexa and me have a past relationship, we used to be friends but when i met Gabi i introduced her to Alexa and she was so shitty to Gab. So we dropped her. Sometimes we have arguments that get out of hand, but she irritates me too much.
At one point Lucas just left the door open for people to come in.

He didn't give a fuck on what we did.
People went up to get a drink but Gabi stayed with me.

"Aw camilla did you come here alone?" Alexa said making a pout face.

"It's better than begging someone to take me." i said rolling my eyes. Daisy was giving me a "who the fuck does she think she is." Alexa looked pissed. I know she wanted to make this the worst night of my life. But not gonna happen.

"Looks like Gabriella is following you around like a puppy" she scoffed while Carlos came back with their drinks. He didn't look at me which i was grateful for.

"Fuck off Alexa, no one wants to deal with your bullshit."

"Dang i can feel some tension" Lucas said after chugging down his drink. Me and Alexa were having a full one on one staring contest. Everyone was looking at us, very intrigued on what would happen next.

"Umm so, how about we play a game?" Liam said trying to cut the tension . Me and Alexa were still staring at each other when she stopped looking at me then put her hand on Carlos' lap. I knew she was trying to make me jealous but i couldn't give a fuck about them both, they suit each other . I was so irritated, not only was i pissed with Alexa, i was boiling hot and fucking Tyler was still trying to pull stuff .

Finally someone answered him.

"Ok let's play truth or dare ." Lucas said

"I'll start" Liam said.

"Dais, truth or dare?"

"Truth." She was playing it off safe .

"Who was the last person you texted?"

Daisy went to check her phone and grinned

"You" She said looking at Liam, I could see the love in their eyes.

"Ok my turn" Daisy looked excited.

"Noah truth or dare?"

"Dare" he said chugging his drink.

"Hm ok message your crush."

We were all looking at Gabi.
Hmm i wonder who his crush is??
