Chapter 21 : Wild party

I felt like shit. I just broke up with the girl i love. I regret it. At the same time i think it's good for me. I don't wanna be in pain. Last night i kept myself up. I've never seen this side of Camilla. Rude and selfish. I always thought if we were to break up it would be because of me. But it wasn't. That's what makes it hurt more.

"Come on man, you can't sulk all day it's not healthy" Lucas said patting my back.

"Carlos, don't stress over a girl. Your not like that."

Noah had a point. Why should i make myself feel shit because of something Camilla did?

"Ok i'll help out with the party"
The party for the figure skaters is today. I'm not looking forward to it. Obviously Camilla will be there. But i promised Lucas i'd help him set it up.

"Ok Liam is gonna come in 10 minutes"

"Shit.." i said said

"What's wrong?" Lucas said closing the fridge

"Not sure how Liam is gonna react to me breaking up with Camilla."

"i don't think he'll be mad, you had a pretty good reason"

Then the door rang.

"Liam, thanks for helping out" Lucas said patting his back

"No problem."

"Hey Carlos, how you holding up?" he said coming over to me. I guess he wasn't mad

"I'm good, don't worry"

He smiled back. That relieved me.

Lucas had a list of things to do. The party started at 9pm. It's 6:25 right now. So it's a good time to start setting up.

2 hours later

"Fuck, finally finished" Liam said slumping on the sofa drinking his water

"Bro you made everything so difficult" i complained to Lucas

He made everything chaotic. He dropped a bottle of Liquor. So we had to clean that up. Then he "accidentally" left the food at the shop. So we had to drive all the way back to get it. So stupid.

"Shut up, i tried my best" he rolled his eyes.

"Ok well ima go home and get ready" Liam said checking the time.

Me and Lucas agreed then went home.

Obviously i was nervous about seeing Camilla there. But i honestly just wanted to drink. Then I got a notification.

Alexa:

Hope to see you at the party Carlos xx

2 hours later
Everyone was here. At the party. It was quite packed. Didn't know people cared for figure skating this much. Me, Noah and Lucas were at the kitchen drinking as much as possible.

"Guys i'll be back" Noah said. He spotted Gabriella . Meaning Camilla was somewhere here. I kept eye contact with the bottle in my hand.

"Don't worry man, if you see her. Run" Lucas said very drunk.

"Hey Carlos" someone said wrapping their hands around my waist. It was Alexa.

"Hey."

"Your mouth stinks of alcohol" she giggled, then she took my hand and dragged us to a corner.

"I heard you broke up with Camilla. I never knew you were so smart" she said wrapping her hands around my neck.

She whispered in my ear

"Don't worry, i'll fix your misery."

Even though I'm basically single, it doesn't feel right kissing anyone else.

"Alexa I don't-"

"What the fuck." I heard someone say

It was Camilla. Her eyes were glossy. She looked shocked. Shit what have i done.

"Typical fuckboy Carlos" she said shaking her head then walked to leave. I wanted to go follow her but Alexa pulled me away.

"She's not worth your time."

"Alexa I don't like you."

Then Noah came pulling me away.
