Chapter 12 : So stupid

After that scene Alexa made i can't stop thinking about Carlos. Why did he stop her from hitting me? Doesn't he hate me? I cant really tell with him. He hides his emotions very well. Today me and Gabs were gonna go to the rink to practice for the competition. Alexa threatened me that she would win, so i decided i needed to up my game.

"Liam, where's mum?"

"She had to go to the office."

When does she not?

I appreciate mum trying to work for us to afford things we want. But i miss her. I've forgotten what it's like waking up with your mum downstairs ready to go shopping with you. It hurts. Liam is basically my parent now, it sounds weird but he really is. I appreciate him for that, he works so hard for us. Even though he's not that much older than me.

"Oh ok well i'm going to the rink with Gab."

"Wait , some of my friends are going to the beach later, Daisy is forcing me to ask you."

I'm not a fan of the beach. Disgustingly sweating, covered in sand and near the bitterly salted sea. No thanks.

"Umm no thanks i'm good."

"Come on please, you never socialise. You're always with Gabi. I don't know how your not sick of each other."

He has a point.

"Ugh i'll think about it." i said grabbing my skates, walking to my car then heading to Gabs.

20 minutes later:

"Took you long enough i was waiting for 10 minutes in the car!"

"Sorryyyy, i couldn't pick what sweater to wear."

"Your forgiven." i said rolling my eyes.

"Soooo, your still thinking about Carlos?"

"I just got him out of my mind, thanks a lot Gab."

"Soooo, your still thinking about himmm??"

"Yeah sadly, my head hurts from thinking about him."

"Mm he was a real bitch yesterday."

"I can agree with that."

As soon as we got to the rink we sat on a bench putting on our skates.

"How's your solo going?"

"To be honest i quite like it."

"Yay that's good, especially after me and Daisy had to stay with you for four hours for you to think of something. You owe me money, since i had to pay for extra hours."

"Right.. will do."
i said getting up ready to get in the rink.

1 hour later:

"I'd say today's practice was successful!"

"It was." I said relieved.

"Ugh what should we do now it's only 1pm."

"Well.. Liam told me some of his friends are going to the beach. He said we should come."

"OMG YES!!"

"You get hyped over everything." i rolled my eyes .

"You wanna go Cam?"

"I'm not sure."

"I understand if you don't, i already pushed you to go to Lucas' house."

I really appreciate Gabi not stepping over my boundaries, she respects me. I love her for that.

"We can go to the beach just us two."

"I guess so." That would be fun, i'm only comfortable around Gabs anyway so it would be fun.

"Yay ok, let's go to my house. I have the perfect swimsuit for you!"

30 minutes later:

"Ok i'll go get ur swimsuit , you pack the bags" Gabi said practically hopping around .

"OK I GOT THE SWIMSUITS!"

She picked out a forest green set with an off the shoulder top. It was pretty cute.

"We look hot!" She squealed

"I agree with that." i was actually quite excited.

"Ok let's go, we got everything" i said grabbing my car keys.

1 hour later

"Yay we're here!"

"It's so sunny"

"Ok let's set up over there."

we went to set up everything then laid on the blanket.

"This is peaceful."

We sunbathed for about 30 minutes then took a break.

"I'm so thirsty" i whined

"I bought drinks."
Luckily Gabi is very prepared

"Oh shit.." Gabi whispered to herself then sipping her drink

"Whaaat?"

"Umm i think that's Liam.."

"Are you fucking kidding me" i cried out

"It's ok we just have to be discreet" Gabi said hiding her face with a hat.

"Hey isn't that Camilla and Gabi??" Daisy not the time.

"Shit." Gabi squeaked.

Then Daisy came running over.

"Omg it is you guys!"

"Heyy..." Me and Gabi said in unison.

"Why didn't you join us ?" Daisy frowned.

"Uh.." Gabi said trying to think up of something.

"Oh hey cami." Liam said coming over with Noah interrupting me and Gabi.

"Hey.." i said awkwardly

"So u declined my offer for Gabi?"

"Yep." i said awkwardly.

Gabi rolled her eyes. I saw Noah looking at her with a gaze. He's really falling for my girl.

"Uh Noah you good?" i said smiling.
Gabi started blushing once she realised he was looking at her.

"Mhm." he said still looking at her.

"You guys should come and sit with us!" Daisy said excitedly.

"Uh..."
Gabi didn't know how to respond.

"Great! Come." Daisy said smiling with happiness, im pretty sure she was relieved she wasn't stuck with Alexa.

"Ugh why are you everywhere ?" Alexa whined

"As if i would've wanted to see your bitchy face."

I saw Carlos' arm around Alexa, and for some reason i felt kinda stupid.
