Chapter 26 : Wasteful Dress

I don't understand Carlos. Today he was acting all lovey dovey with Alexa. It's getting on my nerves. Me and Gab still aren't talking. I don't know when this stupid thing will end. We should start talking soon though since the competition was two days away. I was practicing my ass off. Then i saw Gabi walk in with her skates. This is gonna be weird.
I didn't make eye contact, i just concentrated on my spins. Then she came on the ice and it was so awkward. The only thing you could hear was the ice. Eventually Gabi gave up and came over to me

"I'm sorry" She said hugging me
I smiled into her shoulder

"Forgiven" i said

"I'm sorry too for overreacting"

"It's ok Cami, i've missed you"

"I've missed you too"

I was relieved that was over. Now i have someone to talk to about everything.
After skating i decided to bring Gabi to my house.

1 hour later

When i opened the door i saw my mum. It's about time she showed up.

"Camilla," she said coming over to hug me. I didn't hug her back i was so mad.

"Oh come on, don't act like you didn't miss me" she said stroking my cheek.

"About time you showed up" i scoffed.

"How was practice" Mum said trying to make it less awkward.

"It was fine" i said coldly putting mine and Gabis bag down.

"Mrs Pierre, how are you" Gabi said trying to be nice.

"Aw i've missed your sweet face Gabriella" she said pinching Gabis cheek like she's 7.
I took Gabi's arm and took her upstairs.

"I can't believe my mum came back and acted like nothing has happened!"
I said shutting the door

"I can't believe it either" Gabs said making herself comfy on my bed.

"How could she do that"

"I really don't know" Gabi sighed taking snacks out of my drawer.

"Cami chill come sit" she said patting on the bed.

"Ok."

"Now what?" Gabi smiled.

"Let's watch a film" i said getting the remote.

Then Daisy messaged me saying if we wanted to hangout . I said yeah since we were bored. She said she was at a nice restaurant. So me and Gabi went to her house.

"Lemme find an outfit for you" she smiled.
I was excited to see what about she was gonna pick for me since i haven't worn her outfits in a while.

"Cute" Gabi said smiling .

"Yep, Daisy sent her location so let's go"

"Ok"

We arrived at the restaurant and it was pretty big. Daisy was waiting outside for us.

"Heyy, you guys look so pretty" she said hugging us.

"So do you" i smiled.

"Ok let's go"

When we came to our table we weren't alone..
Liam, Noah, Carlos, Lucas and Alexa. Again?
I was mad at Daisy. Why would she invite me
I was tempted to walk out. But i didn't.

"Ok they're here" Daisy smiled and everyone said hi except Alexa of course.

Me and Gabi sat opposite Carlos and Alexa. I don't even know how that happened.
Everyone was talking, and me and Gabi were such whispering about the situation we were in. Why did Daisy invite us if she's not gonna talk to us? The girl is dumb.

I swear Alexa was being extra touchy with Carlos to rub it in my face. Carlos noticed and tried to stop her, at least he isn't blind.

"Bit sad you got invited last minute" Alexa said. Kill me. As much as i hated him i would love to be Alexa right now.

"It's fine, it's not like i wait to get invited unlike some people" i said as Gabi patted my thigh nodding.

"So i heard you two broke up? Because you were a rubbish girlfriend Camilla. Not surprised"

"Mind your business." I scoffed.

The time went slowly. This was dull. I wasted a perfectly good dress for this. 2 hours went by and everyone was finally gonna leave.
Alexa made one more threat before she left.

"By the way, i'll be winning the bet don't worry" she whispered in my ear.
