I sat there in the dark basement, ready for the ugly fat man with the mask to come through any second now. When the light flickered on, I knew it was time. I gulped softly as I heard the heavy door clanging open, it's hinges clicking together roughly in a squeaky tone. The man stood in the doorway with what looked like a pocket knife, readily resting in his left hand. "Hello again, Blake. I mean, i guess this is the last time we'll be meeting. So I'll make my visits quick." He coaxed in a hoarse voice, picking up his speed slowly as he stepped over to me. I clutched the phone tightly, taking quiet steps back as he moved forward. "Don't be scared. This will all be over in a matter of seconds." The man croaked out, laughing under his breath as he looked at me with pleaded eyes.

"Look at you, all vulnerable." He joked, clicking the words off his tongue in his freakish accent. "I could do anything I wanted, couldnt I?" The man asked, only with a voice that said it all that this-wasn't-actually-a-yes-or-no-question. The smirk on the man's face made me agonized. "What the hell is wrong with you. You fucking pedo." I mumbled in great annoyance, earning a unsettling laugh from the fat man.  "Okay little boy, we can play like that if you want." The man said, his voice echoing louder as he swiftly brushed over to me in one smooth motion.

I quickly swung the phone at him, not knowing what to do. My heart was beating in my throat, as a million thoughts raced to my mind. "Oh my god, oh my god, I'm gonna die. This is the end." I ran to the stairs as fast as I could, before noticing that I had tripped and fell down. I quickly brushed the blood from my nose and got back up, racing up the stairs.
"Make it out, finney." I imagined the most boys were saying. I smiled briefly as I thought of that. It gave me false hope.

To my surprise, as soon as I got fully up the stairs, I felt a stunning sensation in my rib cage. I steadily tilted my head down, noticing the 5-inch pocket knife, placed clean through my chest. I peered backwards as I wept, seeing the old fat man smile in triumph. "Bloody..bastard." I whispered, before letting myself go as all turned white.

I woke up to a bright light flourishing around me. "Ah, your up!" A woman's voice exclaimed, making me loose track of my thoughts and stare at the location of the mysterious voice. It was a middle aged woman with a white and gold robe on, smiling happily at what seemed to be just the thought of my consciousness. What I didn't notice about the woman until right about now..was that she had literal fucking wings growing out of her back. My eyes widened briefly, matching my sudden leap from the chair in despair. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOUR BACK?!" I shouted, unintentionally out loud. The lady seemed to understand rather quickly, holding a hand up and resting her eyes peacefully. "Oh, dear.." we're the only words that I hard escape her mouth, making me wonder what was going on.

"Hello, am I fucking dead or something?!" I muttered, sounding rude as hell. Could you really blame me though? I have no fucking idea what's happening right now. "Sir, your in heaven." The lady finally stated, a sympathetic gaze on her face as she studied my expression. I pulled at the loose string ms of my hair, sighing restlessly as I tried to understand. "You mean like, heaven from the book? So the wings..your an angel." I pieced together, tapping my fingers lightly against my chest. "So, if I'm dead, where are my wings at?" I questioned jokingly, not expecting the serious answer that I got back. "Well, just look behind you." The woman declared, motioning her hand towards my back. I turned my head to look at her reference, my jaw almost dropping as I saw it. Two, baby sets of wings sitting on my back tightly folded together. The weren't big like Hera of course, but I assumed that they got bigger as time flies by in heaven.

Immediately a thought that I had successfully failed to acknowledge popped into my brain. "Wait." I interrupted the lady from her current sentence, "Do you know a boy named Robin Arellano?" I interrogated, glancing at her in hope. She clicked her tongue, looking over towards a distant cloud and pointing. "Him?" She asked, pointing at what looked like a cloud. "No, he's real!" I defined, making her sigh in confusion. "Not the cloud, come and look from where im standing." The lady ordered. I was quick to follow instructions as I took her place and squinted at what she singled out earlier. I saw two boys, one of which was already staring in my direction, whilst the other tried to aimlessly grab the clouds. The one who already seemed to be staring, well. I couldn't lie. I knew exactly who that was. He was staring right at me.

"Finney fucking Blake." Was all I heard as the boy scrambled up to me in disbelief. "Holy-"
Robin stopped himself as the lady stared him down. "Finney! You. You're- here?!" Robin intrigued, frowning slightly at my arrival. "But why?"

"Same as you, rob." I gave a laid back smile, non-verbally  dropping the conversation. I brought him into a generous hug, grabbing at his hair excitedly. "I missed you, robin." I explained, holding onto his neck as I looked into his eyes. "Hmmm, I GUESS I missed you a little." He joked, earning a full hearted laugh from me. It felt good to be with him again. And I would never have to leave him again.

He held his hand out in invitation, which I politely excepted and he dragged me towards a bronze gate. "Come on, I'll introduce you to everyone, again. As soon as we passed the gate, I saw a little group of boys, and one little girl, sitting in a circle together as they laughed. One of which being the boy sitting with Robin from earlier. But once I got a better look, I noticed a particular person. "Gw..gwenny!" I yelped, letting go of robins grasp and rubbing up to her. She noticed me unexpectedly, gasping as I body slammed her with a hug. "W-wha?! When?!" I freaked, honestly lost at the events happening. "I-I'm sorry..finney. I did it to myself as soon as I knew you weren't coming back home." She pleaded, a sorrow look in her swelled eyes. I gave her an apologetic look, grabbing her and swinging her into a tiny hug as we reunited.

After a minute or two, robin took my hand back firmly and his cheeks turned a rosy pink. "Come on finney, we're gonna show you around." He exclaimed, followed by the booming voices of the lost boys of the group. "Welcome home, finney!" They chattered. I blushed mildly, clinging onto robin as I laughed.
