"Reina!" A terrified voice called. My eyes shot open and I was in a cold sweat, I rubbed my eyes with the palms of my hands. My heart was racing and I was out of breath. I looked around, trying to calm down. Stacy was snoring softly beside me. She was sprawled out comfortably on the bed. Her hair was in her face and she looked peaceful yet uncomfortable so I fixed it to the back of her head.

"What a dork." I chuckled as I got up, trying not to stir her. I picked out my clothes for the day and went to the bathroom to freshen up after grabbing my phone. As I made my way downstairs, I heard the door open and mother gasp. I didn't recognise the footsteps or the voice paired along with mother's. I placed my phone in my pocket and carefully made my way down, reminding myself I wasn't in any danger in my own home. I leaned on the wall of the stairs, having the entire kitchen and doorway in my view.

His hair had a similar shade to Josh's, nearly exactly like his dirty blonde hair except lighter. His eyes were green and he was a little more tan than the rest. He knew fashion, for sure, and knew how to style his hair with it. He set down two bags that he had with him.

"Mason! I didn't know you were coming today!" Mother squealed in excitement. She hugged him, visibly tight. He smiled gently as he hugged back.

"Hello, Mason." Father greeted blankly before sipping his coffee and standing. He made his way over and shook his hand, 'Mason' gave a rather fake smile before noticing me on the stairs. His face showed confusion and he raised an eyebrow. I smiled and nodded. I heard Josh's sluggish footsteps make their way down the stairs, he was still half asleep when he got to where I was.

"Hey, Reina, who's here?" He asked as he turned. When he realised who was in the doorway, his eyes lit up and his face got brighter. "Mason! Hey man, it's been a while. How've you been?"

He ran to greet him and gave him a hug, I followed suit and smiled politely.

"I've been pretty good, I got a promotion a while back and saved enough money for another visit. I decided I'd also come to visit since Stacy's up." He looked at me. "Who's this?"

"Nice to meet you, I'm your sister." I answered. His voice was soothing, it sounded calm and gentle. It sounded almost like a voice reading a book to a small child as they fell asleep.

"Stacy?"

"No, she's asleep upstairs. She's knocked out." I chuckled before holding out my hand for him to shake, he did. "I'm Reina, nice to meet you, I was taken in after Stacy went into that coma."

"Ah, I see." He studied me for a moment before returning to his original thoughts. "You said Stacy was upstairs?"

"Yeah, she's sleeping in my room." He raised an eyebrow again. "Her old room."

He nodded and made his way upstairs, quietly, if quiet was intensified by fifty. I chuckled with Josh, for different reasons, as we too made our way up the stairs and to where Stacy was sleeping. Mason was perched atop a Stacy who looked asleep, she wasn't. Mason went to 'wake' her by prancing on her. Stacy's eyes shot open as she grabbed his arm and slammed him onto the bed, twisting his arm behind him then sitting on his back.

"Dude! My bed!" I sighed.

"Ow ow ow ow ow! Stacy! Let go of me, what the hell!" Mason cried out.

Stacy clicked back to her normal self outside of combat and realised what was happening so she let him go. She stood up and rubbed her eyes. It took quite literally everything in me to not laugh.

"Sorry, I was half asleep." She yawned as she stretched. Mason sat up on the bed and rubbed his shoulder. When she finally realised, her face lit up and she smiled.
