It was a nice morning. The people of the hotel began to arise after Paper called everyone down to feast on breakfast. Paper always cooked the wonderful homemade meals in the morning, cooking was one of his favourite hobbies after all! And it was probably best for him to cook! Because he was also very good at remembering the collective allergies of those in the hotel, including his own. Paper sighed and turned away as he waited for the oven to preheat. He sat down and opened a book.

The hotel lobby was a vast open space, it had been upgraded since the last time it's had been shown on television! God knows how OJ could afford it, especially since the residents had never really paid much of anything. White boards lined the low half of the walls, the upper halves were striped with orange. Pillars, also white, we're every few meters on the walls. The desk at the front was empty at the moment, as OJ walked over to unlock the doors. The slight jingle of the keys echoed across the vast room. The floors were tiled, a orange-Brown colour. The rooms surrounded were a deep brown wood with a nice finish on them. The cherries kept getting splinters on them, so that much was absolutely necessary! There was also a chandelier hung above the large brown doors. The handles of which, we're golden. A nice sheen in the dawn light. OJ quite liked it. The only other noises that had filled the room were Paper's subtle foot tapping, and the slight chatter of those who had awoken already.

OJ opened the hotel doors after he had unlocked them. He then sighed and dusted his hands off and turned to Paper. OJ smiled and sat next to Paper on the couch he had been sitting on. The soft cushion beneath him sunk under he's weight, and he put his feet up shortly after a sigh.

"Hey Paper, what are you doing?" OJ asked as he leaned back in his seat. His legs neatly crossed as he stared at Paper kindly.

Paper flinched as he noticed OJ sit next him. "O-oh! Ahaha... I'm just reading! That's all." Paper smiled at OJ and fixed his book to be positioned near his own face. Hiding in a book like usual.

OJ's eyes fixed onto the decorated cover of the boom Paper was holding. He tilted his head curiously, "What are you reading?" OJ asked as he raised an eyebrow. He still had a smile on his face, and seemed genuinely interested.

"O-oh! It's about Object mythology, y'know gods and stuff. It's quite interesting!" Paper laughed nervously, a bit embarrassed to admit. He was quite the nerd for folklore and such.

OJ blinked, and then chuckled, "Gods? Psh, that stuff is fun to read, but I don't really believe in it. Ahah..." OJ mumbled as he leaned on the arm of the couch, and rested his face in his palm.

"Oh. Yeah, I know that! I like to read about myths and legends! Seeing how they protected us y'know? Legends are neat! That's why I like reading them. A distraction from my anxiety." Paper explained and then stuck his face back in his book.

OJ laughed and then sighed with a smile. "Whatever you say, love." OJ smirked, turning his eyes back towards the wall ahead.

Paper turned bright red and slammed the book down on his lap. "OJ-!" Paper shouted, prolonging the other man's name out of embarrassment." "I thought we agreed no pet names in public?" Paper whined in embarrassment, a pouting lip following his statement.
