Shes what?! Amethyst asked. I just stood watching my little princess.

Im sorry Amethyst. I need to do this. We will be back in time for the wedding.

But why? I just got home and now youre leaving?!

Sis this isnt like you! Is he making you go with him or something? Jasper asked.

No! No nothing like that! Im choosing this I promise! Please mom, dad help!

Your sister is right this is all her choice. Lets go talk about it over here and leave Ametrine with King Lucas while I explain it. My father guided my siblings into a meeting room and left me with King Lucas and my mother.

You might want to go with him mom hes going to need back up. Ametrine stated to her mom. She just nodded her head and walked towards the meeting room.

Are you okay little princess? I asked worried about her.

Im fine. When do we leave for your kingdom? She asked. I could tell she was shaken up and needed rest.

We leave in the morning after breakfast. You need rest and it is quite a long distance to my kingdom. I stated.

Will you sleep in my room with me? She asked shyly. I smiled and pulled her in for a hug kissing the top of her head.

Of course, little princess. I thought you would never ask. I could feel her smile against my chest. Next think I know I hear shouting and Jasper comes storming out of the meeting room with Amethyst, Anna, and his parents hot on his heals.

Jasper wait! Amethyst yells.

Im done waiting! YOU! I swear if you hurt my sister, I will find a way to kill your ass and until I do, I will make every day of your life a living hell do I make myself clear? He was livid.

Crystal. I said while pulling her closer to me. I never planned on letting this girl go. He huffed and then stormed away.

Im so sorry about him. He can be a tad overprotective. It just got worse when Amethyst came home. Ametrine stated.

Dont apologize. Im glad you have a family that cares so much about you, little princess. I said nuzzling my nose into her neck I loved her scent it was a vanilla with a hint of cinnamon and it was just heavenly. I could drink it in all day if I could.

Jasper will warm up to you it just takes time. Once he sees you have good intentions with Ametrine he will be fine. So, when are you two leaving? My father asks.

Tomorrow after breakfast daddy. Ametrine answered for me. I smiled down at her and was so happy that I had found her. All of a sudden we heard a scream and ran towards it. Down the hall was a maid looking at another maid laying on the floor soaked in blood.

LUCY!!! Ametrine screamed. I pulled her into me where her head was hidden into my chest.

Who did this? I roared. This maid obviously meant something to my little princess and her pain made me furious.

Amethyst go find Jasper and make sure hes okay tell him to find me, then find James and stick by his side! Anna go with her! Jade call for Bartholomew He knows these girls routes. King Lucas, please take my daughter to your kingdom tonight and keep her safe! This Castle is going on lockdown. King Topaz was in full king mode.

Daddy wouldnt it be safer if Jasper Ametrine James and Anna come with us? Along with Sir Nicholas? Ametrine asked.
