Chapter 21: Princess Amethyst

Its two days till the wedding and Rosella is still looking over her shoulder constantly but trying to put on a happy face and focus on her big day. Hazel has been having nightmares everyone has been pitching in to at least try and make her days as fun as possible, but you can tell shes not her same energetic self. Peter has been trying to comfort them both and hes even getting burnt out. Im on my way to see in we need any adjustments to our dresses for the wedding.

Hey Leora! Anna waves at me. Shes still adjusting to princess life. She tends to help out in the kitchen a lot when shes not hanging out with my adopted parents.

Hey Anna! How are you adjusting?

Its still a shock I think for all of us. I think your adjusting the fastest! But then again you also have James helping you too!

Did I hear someone say my name? James asks coming up from behind us and wrapping his arms around my waist placing a kiss on my cheek.

What are you two talking about?

Just about how we are adjusting to princess life. Anna says shrugging her shoulders. I giggle and lean into James arms.

Come on, we should get to our fitting before Lady Mary starts to think we forgot about her. I say laughing. Anna and James laugh beside me as we continue are way to the seamstress room. James gives me a kiss and continues on his way once we reach the doors and Anna and I walk through the door.

Leora! Anna! You made it! Rosella says wrapping her arms around both of us.

Of course we did! We werent going to miss this! I say hugging her back. We walk over to Lady Mary as shes adjusting Ametrines dress while its on her.

Oh Ametrine! You look beautiful! Her dress was a light purple with a single strap over the shoulder, floor length with a slit up the side coming about mid-thigh.

Thank you! Lady Mary, you work magic I swear! Ametrine gushes!

Okay your majesty give me a little twirl please! Ametrine spins around and the dress is just perfect for her as Rosellas maid of honor.

Perfect! You can change back now your majesty!

Thank you, Lady Mary! Rosella, your next! Ametrine says while hopping off of the podium. Rosella smiles and walks over to were her dress is hanging up covered with a bag, so the boys dont see it. She walks behind a changing panel. When she comes out shes wearing a white dress with and embroidered corset bodice, lace designed arm sleeves, a slightly poof bottom that shimmered and cascaded down to the ground.

Now for the veil. Lady Mary said as she placed a long veil that flowed past the dress and was embroidered with butterflies. It was held in place with a baroque blue crystal tiara.

Its beautiful Lady Mary! Thank you! Rosella was in tears.

Whats wrong my dear?

Nothing, its just I was hoping my mother would have been here to see my wedding but thanks to my father she wont be.

Oh sissy! Roseanne ran to her sister and threw her arms around her.

I want mommy here too, but you know dad wont let her out of the castle let alone come here. If he knew you were getting married, hed have Peter killed! He wants to rule all of the Kingdoms! We can still take lots of pictures and show mommy that way once we take dad down!

Youre right! Wait! I forgot to ask James if he will give me away!! Rosella started to go pale.

Hey calm down! Once you are done with your final fitting, we can go find him together! Sound good? I suggest. She nodded her head and got her color back in her face. Rosella let Lady Mary finish the final touches before taking off her wedding dress and putting back on her day gown.
