It was almost sundown and Izuku got ready as he put on his mask and hoodie to visit the scientist who created the energy conversion formula, Izuku had planned to see Dr. Hiroko Tashiba who was the second in command for this project. He didn't want to go after the team leader first even though he was the one who most likely knew the complete formula but after much research done on the 4 Dr. Tashiba had missed the most days of work due to family-related issues so if he doesn't show up for work the next day then they would most likely jot it down as the usual family issues. The second person Izuku would visit would be Prof. Hana Yoshida, a young newly promoted for her innovative thinking and advanced knowledge in quirk energy application. The field she studied was rare and only found in specialized schools, meaning she is most likely government trained. A rare genius being poached by a greedy government was not a rare sight to see, Izuku was protected by Star labs so he could have been a government dog if he wasn't.

Izuku got up from his chair and went to the basement which coincidently connected to one of the old passage tunnels used by the revolutionary army against All for one when the government gave up on fighting him. The tunnel led him to a dead end as a train station was built here after the dark ages. Izuku took out his tablet and hacked into the CCTV to see if anyone was near by in which only the few people that were there mainly focused on the phones and not looking up, Izuku used this chance to put up a jammer signal to their cameras in a 15 meter radius using an ai generated loop so he would move undetected. Izuku calmed himself and thought of all the hate he has for the government and how they ruined his life to produce negative tachyons to move fast enough to phase through the wall. Izuku started vibrating and phased through the wall and started walking to the train like nothing happened, he got on the train and saw his first target just a few meters ahead of him. Izuku pulled out his tablet to try and hack into Dr. Tashiba's phone and find anything he could use to blackmail the man, he didn't want to resort to violence but will if necessary. Izuku found out minor secrets but that was, but that wasn't enough to betray the government, so he knew intimidation tactics would be the next best thing. The train came to a stop and both the doctor and Izuku got off the train, Izuku pulled out his phone and started looking at it as he started walking out of the station and when they were about 2 blocks from his apartment building Izuku took a detour and used his super speed to arrive before him and prep his apartment for arrival and also scout for any bugs placed by the government. The doctor was currently going through a divorce so he lived alone and Izuku used this to his advantage to set the perfect stage. Izuku might be a genius amongst geniuses but he was still a teenager with limited social experience so he did what he saw in many movies and waited for the doctor on a sofa in a dark corner of the living room.

Izuku disabled all recording devices and waited for him, he heard the door open and the doctor immediately noticed a shadowy figure sitting in the corner of his room. The doctor thought it was one of the government agents and let his guard down. He put his things down and sat on a chair across Izuku. "So what does madam president want this time?" Dr Tashiba asked the shadowy figure. Izuku was quick to play the role he was given by the doctor. "Dr. it's come to our attention that someone has been selling the formula for a hefty amount, we have recently uncovered that a part of the formula has already been sold and madam president has sent us to find out who did it. Only 4 people know about this formula and each know a section of it for security reasons. Now here's the question, who's brave enough to defy madam president better yet who has the least to lose from it" Izuku said all this with a cold emotionless tone as his eyes became a brighter shade of red the more he spoke. Tashiba saw this and immediately stood up shouting that he would never betray the government, he was sweating now because he know these agents show no mercy to acts against the government. The doctor sat back down after he felt the glare from the agent intensify, "You don't think I did it, do you?" "Well doctor, it's not my job to speculate who did what but to find out the truth and report back." Dr Tashiba still had a bit of hope as he asked how to prove his innocence, Izuku took advantage of his current state and told him to write down the part of the formula he knew and see if it matched with the one they recovered. Tashiba complied and Izuku was surprised to see he wrote 2 of the 4 and how simple the formula actual is, he cursed himself for over complicating things. Even though Izuku had the enough part do it himself he felt that he needed the base formula or the foundation for this formula as it would open up more doors for him once he started doing it himself. "You are in the clear for now Doctor so cherish this rare moment of mercy and speak nothing of this" Izuku's glow lessened the more he spoke as he got up and started to leave. "Have a pleasant night doctor" Izuku said this as he left the apartment. Tashiba was sweating and breathing heavily as he was ready to be done with all this government crap and went to take a shower as he looked at the time to see it was a few minutes to 8.
