-And you know I love you so.
COURT WAS in session, Willow stood as she spoke passionately.
Kane Scott sighed deeply, he could be seen muttering to the defendant. The woman nodded in response.
Ironically, fate had the two parents in the same line of profession. One was defending, the other was prosecuting. Another reason to further cement their enmity.
An hour later, was the adjournment of the court. Out of the courtroom, and in the parking lot was Elliot. He stayed in the car waiting for his dad.
Kane cleared his throat. The sound was so loud and unexpected, that Elliot jumped.
"Sorry," he chuckled, and he got in the car. "Did I startle you?"
"A bit. Er, how did it go?" Elliot couldn't think of what else to say at the moment.
Kane smiled, "The case was adjourned, I did drum up a good argument and I'd like to see how Willow would handle it."
Elliot hummed, Kane pointed to the left. "I'd like a bottle of water can you get it at the store? You can get what you want as well."
Elliot nodded, "I'd probably get a fruit bar."
Elliot nodded, heading out to the store across the road. He got two bottles of water and fruit bars. He got out of the store and saw someone in his father's car.
He moved quickly to the car, He was surprised, "Sophie?" He breathed.
Sophie smiled, and Elliot's breath hitched. He would recognise her red hair from anywhere.
"Surprise!" She laughed. He could hear his father's laughter as well. Elliot leaned forward to hug her, and they shared a brief but passionate hug.
Elliot lifted an eyebrow, "Babe have you been back all this while?"
She shook her head, "No I just got here. Your mum said you were at the court so I came down to see you."
"Oh," Elliot breathed. He grinned, and he kissed her forehead.
"Get into the car let's head home," Kane said.
Sophie tossed her hair back over one shoulder. They got into the car, he passed Kane a bottle of water.
Elliot beamed, "I missed you."
She chuckles softly, "Same."
"I called you—" Sophie said but was interrupted by Elliot's phone ringing. Sam.. He muted the call and faced her.
Sophie giggled, "My mum would've told Sam I was back in town so he's probably calling to tell you."
Elliot moved closer to her, "Yeah. So how's Woodcrest treating you?"
Sophie made a face, "Same old, it's not the same as here. I don't have you, Sam and Mindy."
Elliot cracked up, "But you always look happy when we FaceTime,"
Sophie smiled and shrugged, "Because it's you, it's always good to see your face."

Willow arrives at her home, she meets Sebastian and Khari. Khari welcomes her in. "Hey honey," he kisses her, "How was court?"
Willow winced, "Same old, but Kane did bring up some solid arguments."
Khari said carefully, "If you need help with some research, we could help you out."
Willow gleamed, "I know honey," She turned to Sebastian. "Sebastian, can you get me a bottle of water?"
Sebastian stands and hands a bottle of water to his mother.
Khari paused for a moment, looking thoughtful. He said, "I made lunch, you can pop yours in the microwave."
Willow sighed, "Alright, I'll go freshen up." She went up the stairs to her room.
Sebastian picked up his sandwich, he went to his room. His phone buzzed, and he reached for his pocket.
Trey... He muttered.
"Hey, what's up?"
Trey said, "Sebastian?" his tone was serious.
Sebastian frowned, "What's wrong Trey?"
Trey hesitated, he answered. "Jason heard Sean got into a fight with us, then he went and confronted him. They got into a fight."
Sebastian gritted his teeth, "I told Jason to stay out of it. Where was the fight?"
Trey said quickly, "I don't know, Austin went with him. He said Jason said something to Sean then Sean went red in the face and they started throwing punches."
Sebastian groaned, "What's wrong with the both of them?"
Trey scoffed, "I honestly think this is all Sean's fault, the dude's got some issues he needs to work out."
Sebastian asked worryingly, "Are they okay?"
Trey replied, "Yeah, I guess. They fought outside school."
"Where are they now?"
Trey sighed, "Austin took Jason home, and Sean ran off. Jason's parents were fuming though, I'm pretty sure his dad would call coach."
Sebastian lets out a sigh. "Okay I'll call you later, I gotta call Jason."
"Bye," Trey said.
He scrolls through his contacts. He rang twice, the third call went through.
"What?" Jason snapped, he was irritated.
"Is—"
Jason interrupted, "Let me guess, Trey already told you what happened."
"I—"
He went on, "I'm okay dude. Everything that happened was Sean's fault. I'm busy I'll call you later."
To Sebastian's dismay, Jason dropped the call. He didn't even let him speak. He tried calling Sean, but no one answered the phone.
