-Am I entitled to love or am I born to lose?
ELLIOT went back and forth in his room. Eventually, he stepped out of his room.
"Mum!" He called out.
"Yes?!" Ruby answered back in an instant.
"Have you seen my phone charger?"
Ruby thought for a while, "I believe Kyla took it,"
Elliot grumbled, "I don't understand why she's always taking mine,"
He walked into her room. He looked at the table which stood close to the window. He heaved a sigh of relief as he saw his phone charger on the table.
He moves near, heeding out the window, and he catches a glimpse of Khari doing Yoga stretches. He breaks into laughter, I didn't know that Sebastian's dad is flexible...
He gazed for a moment contemplating if he should even take up yoga classes himself. He thought back to Sofia and the girls chatting about its benefits. He thanked his mother for telling him where his charger was.
While charging his phone, he glances around his room. It was dark and cool, he stopped at his window, it was barely opened because he didn't want the light rays penetrating his room when sleeping.
He stepped and held up the curtains. He discerns Sebastian's reading. It looked like he was in their archive, he looked wholly engrossed in the book he was flipping through.
Elliot snorted, he dared to take a photo, and he lowered his curtains soon after. He was starting to feel weirded out by it.
•
"Um Seb," Khari called out.
Sebastian swerved back, he caught a glimpse of the sweat on his dad's face.
"Yeah?" He paused. "Were you using Mum's yoga mat again?"
Khari hissed, "She's my wife, I can use her things as I will but just don't tell her I used them okay."
Sebastian nodded, "Understood, do you need anything, Dad?"
Khari snapped his fingers, "Tyler phoned a while ago, he's waiting for you at the gym."
"Oh, shoot I almost forgot about it." Sebastian dropped his book on the table. He rose, "I better get going,"
•
"Hey Tyler," Sebastian said standing out of the gym.
"What's up?" Tyler said casually.
Sebastian sneered, "What do you mean what's up? I'm at the gym where are you?"
Tyler was confused, "What? I thought you weren't coming anymore. I called you like two hours ago. Uncle Khari said he'd tell you and I waited for an hour and you still didn't come."
Sebastian groaned, "He only told me you phoned minutes ago, What am I supposed to do?"
Tyler was mellow, "Practise with someone else, I'm at a friend's place."
"Whose?"
Tyler sighed, "Carlos's but check if Andre is free."
Sebastian sighed, he looked round. "No, he isn't, I'm just gonna head home because everyone's leaving."
"I'm sorry Seb," He paused. "But in my defence, I did wait. I got to go now but I'd make it up to you later."
Sebastian picked up his sweat bag, he walked out of the gym. His phone rang, and he raised a brow.
"What's up, Sean?"
"Where you at?" Sean asked him.
"I'm heading home," He said.
Sean muttered, "Oh," he went on. "Do you have plans tomorrow?"
Sebastian shook his head, "Nah,"
"Can we meet up?"
Sebastian frowned, he was unsure. "Sure,"
Sean sighed, "I want Trey to be there too but I don't wanna call him and deal with his nonsense so I'd rather you call him."
"Alright," Sebastian nodded.
"Yeah."
He gets into his car and drives home, he finds his mother had returned home earlier than he'd expected.
"You're home early," Willow noted.
He nodded, "We didn't practise today, I was late and Tyler had left so yeah."
Willow frowned, she turned to him. "I thought your dad told you he called,"
"Yeah, but Tyler had called hours ago and Dad didn't tell me earlier, because he was—" Sebastian settled on the coach.
Willow interjected, "He used my mat didn't he?"
Sebastian mimed a zip on his mouth, "Where's dad anyway?"
Willow spoke, "He went out to meet with a client,"
"Alright," He turned to the TV. "I thought Barry was with Iris?"
Willow shook her head, "They have a slight misunderstanding."
Sebastian headed to the kitchen, he took a cup of ice cream. He watched the series with his mum for a while then headed up to his room.
He phoned Trey to tell him about what Sean had said. The two friends debated on the motive of the call.
