-Oh my darling, I loved you since I was 18.

SEBASTIAN and Trey were waiting at the ice cream shop for Sean. They bobbed their head to the music in the shop.

It was the shop nearest to Sean's home, and it'd be easy and quick for their meeting but they had been sitting for over an hour now and Sean was nowhere to be seen.

Trey lets out a breath, "What do you think he wants to talk about?"

Sebastian shrugged, "I don't know, our talk over the phone was pretty vague. I hope we get to iron out our issues once and for all."

Trey folded his arms, "I'd like that, I had to reschedule my plans for this."

Sebastian arched his brow. "What do you have on?"

"My aunt and my older cousins are visiting, I haven't seen them in years." Trey flicked his spoon. "I was told to pick them up at the train station but Mindy was nice enough to let me off."

Sebastian gaped, "Oh, did Becca come?"

Trey shook his head, "I don't think so but I hope not,"

Sebastian grimaced, "Why? but she's cool."

Trey rasped, "That's what you feel, wait till you spend the night with her."

Sebastian was bewildered and cracked up. "Why would I want to I spend the night with her,"

"Whatever," Trey glimpsed at his watch. "Where is Sean anyway, he isn't at home and we've been waiting for quite some time now."

Sebastian picked up his phone.

"I'll try calling him,"

He put his phone on the table in disbelief, "He's not answering, you try ringing him."

Trey phoned Sean, the result remained the same. Trey grew restless. They kept phoning Sean but he didn't respond to their calls. They stayed for another hour yet no sign of Sean.

Trey's phone rings and his and Sebastian's ears perked up in hopes of the caller being Sean but it was Mindy.

"Where are you, Trey?" She was exasperated.

"I'm at the ice cream shop," He said meekly.

"Please get here now, I can't cover up for you anymore," She spoke in a low tone, "Mum and Dad aren't happy with your absence and I'm tired of tiptoeing around everyone."

Trey rolled his eyes, "I'm on my way."

"Okay," She sounded relieved. "Um tell Sebastian I said hi."

He positioned his phone on the table. Sebastian stared at him, "Mindy can't cover up anymore?"

Trey kneaded his fingers, "Yeah, but I can still wait a bit."

Sebastian nodded.

Thirty minutes into his wait, more calls from Mindy, and no sigh from Sean. Trey finally snapped, when they saw Sean had posted a picture of him and some friends online.

He scoffed in disbelief, "This is so stupid Sebastian. We've been sitting here for hours now, and he ignored our calls. I should have known this was some sort of a joke now."

He rose in anger, "I want no part of this. Why try befriending someone who isn't willing? He's posting pictures all over his social media, our messages are checked as seen, and I'm done with Sean's shit."

He stops. "We thought he was misunderstood but I guess he isn't. He's pretentious and I'm not going to waste my time on him anymore."

They shook hands and Trey rushed out of the shop, Sebastian shook his head. He gritted his teeth, he moved to the counter to place his third order of ice cream.

They wanted to be there for Sean, but it was evident Sean didn't want that. His calling them out Sebastian felt was to mess with them. Sean surely had seen the numerous messages they had sent.

His phone buzzed, and he reached for his pocket. It was a notification. Sean had once more updated his profile, he was in dismay. The more he pondered on Sean's motive, the angrier he got.

He took a glimpse at his phone before exiting the ice cream shop in disappointment. Luckily it was a sunny day and the weather soon alleviated his mood.
