Skull couldn't believe everything that was going on in his life.

When he was a pup (technically older but not matured yet) he got caught in a large storm while searching for food. Only to wake up trapped on the shore, which is the one place a young (though older) siren monster shouldn't be! Sure siren monsters have the advantage due to humanity's dangerous sense of curiosity, which lets sirens easily grab hold of them and use them as a quick 'pick-me-up' before hunting for a real meal.

He didn't know how long he was there for but he slowly started to feel the effects of being out of the water for so long. His body started to feel heavy to the point he couldn't move, it was getting harder and harder to breathe, and he felt a thirst that revealed his hunger.

He really believed he was going to die.

So he did what his people do best.

He sang.

He sang a song to attract someone willing to help, a song that called out to someone who would listen.

He called out to his SOULmate.

He wasn't expecting a reply, or even for them to hear it.

He just didn't want to die on the quiet beach.

But someone did answer.

You did.

You were small. Too small. You would be easy to pick off if he was another siren.

Which he was glad that wasn't the case.

Skull didn't hear what you said, nor would he since he didn't know how to speak your language at the time. But he understood when someone was fearful.

You were very much afraid.

He didn't want to see you afraid, especially when he needed your help and because you were his SOULmate. So he carefully and slowly, though also very painfully, moved the closest tentacle towards you, where it gently tapped against you (or at least what he assumed was you).

You were smart as you looked down to see his tentacle at your foot then looked back up at him and talked in your language that he didn't understand. But once again he signaled you with his tentacle and later showed a sign of need.

You then started to help him, taking him in the direction he needed to go. Grabbing onto one of his many tentacles and started pulling. You were strong despite your cute small size.

You tripped a bit in your efforts which made him chuckle a bit at how clumsy you were.

You didn't seem to like that he found your slip up a bit humerus in the end because you puffed out like a also cute pufferfish. You also said something that sounded angry but it didn't last long as you continued to pull him to the ocean.

The water felt lovely on his very dried body, water washing all over him to the point he was able to move once again.

He slowly sat up once washed down, then turned to look at you.

You were definitely smaller than you seem.

He looked you up and down, scanning your appearance and even your scent. You were just a youngling, like him (though he is older than you by a good bit of time).

You turned to the bag and pulled out something from it, it smelled like fish, more specifically tuna.

How did a small creature like yourself manage to kill a tuna? Or did someone else do that?

Either way you said something but pushed the tuna in front of him, he looked at it then back at you. Not wanting to be rude, and also with the possibility of not getting food for a while, he took it and ate it.
