Devale- My bad bro, I was just saying goodbye

Kevin- Yea you do that

Devale- I'm only leaving because of her I'm tired of your bitch ass attitude better put all that energy in to keeping her

Kevin- What the fuck did you just say nigga?

Devale- ( laughing ) see you and my daughter later Crys ( walking out )

Kevin- ( angry ) Really?

"What?" I shrugged "don't start with this insecure bullshit it was a fucking goodbye hug"

Kevin- Why was he even back in here?

"He came back! How else you think he was back in here? He wanted to see Morgan so either we eat and forget about all this or you can fucking go" I said angrily

Kevin didn't respond he just handled me the food and sat down in the chair he didn't even eat. After a couple more days in the hospital it was the day to go and Devale was here to help.

Doctor- Hey Ms.Hayslett we see here you don't have a last name for her

"Ellis" I said looking at Devale "Can you sign?" I asked him smiling and he nodded in agreement. I could tell Kevin was furious but he wasn't saying anything. After we packed up everything we headed home. Once we got home all the kids were there excited to see her. Things went great for a few weeks. Kevin was helpful, Devale helped out as much as he could, the kids were doing great with keeping school and chores in line at both houses the flow of things was going great. At least that's what I thought. 

Morgan was officially 1 month today and it was the day of her photo shoot with Lani and the boys. I had Jaxsons old room turned into a photo studio for the day.

"Babe is everything ready? The photographer is almost here!" I said as I put the finishing touches on Lani and Morgan's outfits. "Devale will be here with the boys in a second"

Kevin- ( Nonchalantly ) Yeah it's ready

"What's your problem?" I asked him but he ignored me and walked away.

Lani- He doesn't want dad here

"What? Lani, what are you talking about?" I asked her clearly confused

Lani- ( whispering ) I heard him on the phone he said he's tired of dad always coming by and that he was going to push the wedding up

"Lani how did you hear all of this? And why are you just now telling me?" I asked because she normally tells me everything

Lani- ( whispering ) Well yesterday me and Kota was playing hide and seek and I hid in your closet and he came in your room to grab something and I heard him on the phone

"First of all stay out my damn room little girl" I chuckled "But thank you for letting me know"

I finished getting the girls ready and Devale arrived with the boys. I played it cool with everything because I didn't want my daughter to think she was starting any mess so I kept my mouth shut. The kids took a few pictures and Mor got a little fussy.

"Just 2 more with mommy and daddy" I sad rocking her a little getting her to calm down.

Kevin- I'm not dressed for pictures baby.

Devale- She wasn't referring to you

"Babe, this is for the kids it'll just be me and Devale in a couple shots" I said as I went to stand behind them. Devale came and stood next to me and he wrapped his arm around my lower back "What are you doing?" I whispered

Devale- ( Whispering ) Is this too much?

"No" I whispered as I continued to smile for the camera I felt Devale's hand slide down to my ass a few times but I ignored it.

We were all done and the photographer left. Kevin took Morgan to feed her a bottle leaving me and Devale alone to clean up everything I had set up for pictures.

"Thank you for coming" I said to him

Devale- Anytime baby mama, you know yo boy mad right?

"I know" I sighed "D, I love him and I wish he'd stop with this insecure bullshit" I whispered

Devale- But is it really insecurity or intuition ? ( walking over to me )

"Yes! I know what and who I want and that's him" I said making sure not to make eye contact

Devale- You sure about that? Because every time I come around your body screams for me ( grabbing my waist )

"Yes I'm sure D what are you doing?" I said in a soft tone

Devale- So look at me Crystal, every time I come around you never look at me

"Because I can't! Okay I really can't and that's bothering me" I confessed

Devale- ( silent staring at me )

"Devale I-" I was immediately cut off by a kiss and I didn't resist it turned into a passionate kiss, Devale's hands caressed my ass as I grabbed his face we were so into it we didn't see Kaz come in

Kaz- Mom, Kevin is calling you down- ( laughing ) oooohh never mind momma

"Shit!" I said pushing Devale away exiting the room

Devake took the kids out I stayed home with Morgan and Kevin. It was an awkward silence between us and I knew exactly why. It wasn't me trying to be mean but why would I take pictures with him and them and none of these kids belong to him.

"You wanna talk about it?" I said laying Morgan down for her nap

Kevin- What is there to talk about?

"Well if you don't know neither do I" I said attempting to walk out of the room but he grabbed my arm.

Kevin- Crys let me ask you something

"Anything! I'm an open book" I said nervously

Kevin- What were y'all doing upstairs?
