"It's been two hundred days and 10 months since we've been in jail. I can't help but notice how everyone is getting old here." Gorou's voice was shaking in fear. "I cannot do this anymore, guys..."
"My bro, my guy, my dude. It hasn't even been a day." Itto blinked in confusion as he noticed how crazy his friend turned into.
"That's right, comrade. It's been half an hour." Childe let out a sigh as he looked around. "I have a bad feeling."
Itto frowned as he leaned against the wall and thought to himself.
"I miss my vision..."
"Yeah, how is it that they didn't take mine but they took yours? Huh." Gorou started thinking.
"Ginger, tell me why they didn't arrest your lil' friend? After all, he was here last time." Itto squinted his eyes as he looked at Childe.
Childe let out a chuckle before replying.
"He wasn't arrested when he was here. He came to get me out but he didn't want to do it while you were here paying attention to us." he scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"WHAT?!" Itto suddenly got up and clenched his fists in anger.
"Violence doesn't solve anything. Please remain calm." Gorou joined the conversation as he stepped between the two men. "I'm sure we can all talk this out in a nicer manner."
Itto didn't say anything, he kept eyeing the ginger haired man in silence. He couldn't believe he lied to him and the fact that he didn't get him out back then. Childe broke the eye contact as he turned to look at the cell door as if someone stood there.
"Your Excellency?" Gorou spoke up first as he walked to the door to see his friend more. "What are you doing here?"
Sangonomiya Kokomi let out a sigh before saying anything.
"General Gorou, how could you...?" she sounded disappointed and hurt. "I thought you'd be better than this. I told you both not to come back to Narukami Island."
"I was checking on Itto..." Gorou pushed his ears back feeling ashamed. "I am truly sorry, Your Excellency..."
Kokomi glanced at Itto quietly, then turned back to her general.
"I forgive you, Gorou." she gently smiled at him.
The general slowly looked up at her after hearing her words. It was new that Kokomi called him by his name, instead of putting the word 'General' there. It wasn't professional anymore, more like friendly.
Itto crossed his arms as his attention from Childe completely fixated on Gorou and Kokomi. He felt an uncomfortable burning feeling in his chest, as if it was anger or some kind... perhaps... jealousy.
"Ugh, quit it, you two! It doesn't matter what happened, we're all stuck here." he groaned up, interrupting them on purpose.
"Well, I came to bail my general out." Kokomi turned serious again. "I'll go for the keys. I'll be right back."
She glanced at Gorou and walked away.
"WHAT? SHE'S JUST JOKING, RIGHT?!" Itto yelled up angrily.
Gorou stayed silent as he watched his Divine Priestess walk off to get the keys. He slowly turned around to look at his friend who seemed super upset in the moment. Childe slowly patted his back in reassurance. Itto let out a disappointed sigh as he leaned against the wall while avoiding Gorou's gaze completely.
Dang it, after everything they just leave him hanging like this? Unbelievable...
Gorou's ears and tail dropped as he noticed how sad his friend was. He heard some footsteps so he turned back to see Kokomi once again. She held the keys in her hands and she was about to open the cell door when Gorou interrupted her.
