ellie woke up with jj sleeping next to her, she heard a knock at the door.
"jj! get up" she whispered "you gotta sneak out the window, someone's here"
jj groaned and rolled out of bed, he slipped out the window, as el went to close the window he leaned back in and kissed her before leaving again.
"el, can i come in?" john b asked.
"yeah come on in" she agreed "what's up?".
"i just wanted to talk about yesterday" john b began "i want you to know that it's okay, that you're seeing rafe... i don't love it but im not mad like jj is"
"thanks john b" she smiled "where is jj?" she asked.
"not sure" he shrugged "you still pissed at him?"
"um... no" she thought "just curious i guess".
suddenly jj came into the house with wet hair "woo! the waters nice today boys" he announced coming into the bedroom "it's a great day to check out that boat again".
"j, we need some scuba gear if we're gonna go back down there" el explained.
"oh right! let me get in the ferrari and drive back to the mansion to pick up my scuba" jj mocked.
"we don't have scuba but i know who does... if i could just get like ten minutes alone with rafe; he'd let me borrow it" el reasoned.
jj argued "no... fuck no i don't want that kook involved".
after a few minutes of conversation, sherif peterkin entered the house "sorry to barge in like this, can i have a word john b?" she asked looking to el and jj as to tell them to wait outside.
jj and ellie went outside and leaned against the twinkie, kie and pope were waiting outside "hey... what's sherif peterkin doing here?" pope asked.
"guess" el pointed to jj.
"what'd you do with the gun?" jj asked "don't worry" el shrugged "it's well hidden".
"well you should probably go get that ten minutes alone with rafe huh?" jj rolled his eyes.
"don't tell me you're serious right now" el scoffed "i didn't mean it like that j".
"yeah... whatever" jj shook his head.
"okay something definitely happened between you too" kie examined "does john b know?".
"know what?" el shrugged.
"come on kie? me and ellie?" jj scoffed "that's gross".
el looked down at her feet, she knew that jj was only saying that to cover for them but it still hurt "yeah... gross" she mumbled.
finally, john b came back outside and sherif peterkin drove off. "peterkin said she'd call off DCS if we stayed outta the marsh for a few days"
"fuck that" jj shook his head "there's gotta be something valuable down there if they want us out so bad, you gotta sneak onto that boat and borrow that gear man"
"okay i don't feel very good about stealing from one of my best friend's families" el shook her head.
"oh but it's fine when you wanna go seduce rafe for it" jj scoffed.
"you're ridiculous... i actually can't talk to you" ellie threw her hands in the air "honestly, do what you want... i have to get to work"
"good... pogues only" jj spat.
"pogues only!?" el scoffed "jj i work two jobs and my dad's in jail, im pretty sure i'm a pogue"
"yeah maybe" jj shrugged "but you fuck kooks".
el couldn't believe that he was acting so jealous, she had to walk away so she did... more like stormed off but you get it.
