it was midsummers, ellie had to borrow a dress from sarah since she couldn't afford one of her own. she arrived with the cameron family, arms linked with rafe; getting a lot of looks from kook parents who were appalled that rafe would bring a pogue as his date.
"i'm gonna go talk to pope and kie" el told rafe walking over to two of her best friends "hey guys, you hear from jj?"
"no" pope shook his head "are you still mad at him?"
"well he's in jail... i can't really hold a grudge" she shrugged.
el didn't know but john b and jj had formed a plan to sneak jj into the party disguised as a waiter... they also didn't know he got out of jail in the first place.
el and sarah were dancing together when jj snuck up behind them, "psst sarah! from vlad" jj slipped sarah a note then grabbed el by the hand and pulled her aside.
el attacked jj with a hug "don't do that again you dick" she warned.
"no promises" he smirked "so you're not mad at me anymore?" he asked.
"only if you're not mad at me anymore" she smiled.
"i can't stay mad at you ellie" jj cupped el's face and kissed her then looked at her.
rafe came up behind jj and grabbed his shoulder "what's going on here?" rafe asked.
"okay rafe just let him go" el begged.
"i could use a drink actually" rafe ignored el.
rafe's friends surrounded jj, jj managed to run away into the house and kie pulled el away. a little while later, jj bursted through the door back outside being escorted by security "i can walk myself! i've got legs" jj declared. "ellie! i see you got your drink that's great! i'm actually gonna down that" he smiled as he chugged el's glass.
security pushed jj all throughout the party off of the premises "let's hear it for the men in uniforms! woah rose you look like lady liberty" jj joked.
"let go of him! i invited him here" kie yelled "im a member"
jj pushed a security guard and finally broke free of his grip "alright let's go! rixons cove! pope you coming?" jj exclaimed "el baby! let's go, you too kie" jj ran towards the beach.
kie and pope both ran away from their parents, not without argument. el looked at rafe "you're not actually going with them are you?" he asked.
"i'm sorry, mandatory pogue meeting" she shrugged running towards the beach.
"woo! i knew she was a pogue after all" jj exclaimed hugging el and carrying her down the beach.
