The road to recovery

Chapter 35

Stiles knocks on the front door of the Mikaelson mansion and waits.

The door opens to reveal Elijah. Making a massive smile appear on Stiles' face. Elijah sporting is own softer smile.

"Hi." Stiles says softly.

"Hello Stiles." Elijah greets before bringing Stiles into a warm kiss.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here sister." Klaus' voice echoes throughout the mansion making the men break apart and momentarily rest their foreheads together before they both straighten up and look towards the smirking hybrid.

"Oh, please don't stop on our account." Becca jests, standing next to Klaus.

"I hate you both." Stiles tells them making the brother and sister duo smile proudly.

"So, what are you doing here Stiles? I doubt you're here just to stick your tongue down my brother's throat." Klaus asks.

"Thank you for that colourful imagery Niklaus." Elijah says.

"I'm just doing my due diligence brother." Klaus replies as he walks down the stairs towards the couple. "But your lovely boyfriend has yet to answer my question."

"I'm here to check up on Finn." Stiles tells them.

"Ooh, looks like you have competition Elijah." Becca taunts.

"I need to make sure I removed all of the dark magic from him." Stiles informs Elijah when the man looks at him questioningly.

"I'll show you to him." Elijah offers.

"How sweet Elijah's taking care..." Elijah interrupts Klaus.

"Enough brother, I'm sure you have other things that you must be doing today."

"Actually, I do, and I may need to borrow your boy-toy." Klaus says, stepping in front of the two men.

"What is it that you want that I won't be giving you?" Stiles taunts causing Elijah to smirk.

"I need you to unbind our blood." Klaus orders.

"Sure, I just the blood of all siblings and then we should be able to do that." Stiles tells Klaus.

"Already done." Klaus says as he moves out of the way, allowing Stiles inside. "Follow me."

"Well, I have something I need to do, and you already have my blood, so I shall be making my exit." Becca states.

"Where are you going?" Klaus asks his sister.

"I have some unfinished business with Damon Salvatore. Ask sage what he did to me. Then you'll understand why retribution is in order." Becca says before leaving the mansion.

"Who's sage?" Stiles asks as he and Elijah follow Klaus up the stairs.

"She is Finn's one true love. I'm sure you will meet her when you check on Finn." Klaus sneers.

"Is it her you don't like or the fact that they are in love?" Stiles asks.

"It's a mix of both, I believe. Klaus believes love to be a weakness and he has never been fond of Sage. Neither has Rebekah...I'm honestly surprised they are getting along so well." Elijah informs.

"Love is a weakness." Klaus states as they enter a room with several vials of blood and a piece of parchment on a table.

"I thought you had feeling for Caroline?" Stiles mentions as he walks up to the table and starts pouring each vial of blood onto the table in the centre of the parchment.

"What do or don't feel towards Caroline is none of your business." Klaus snaps, obviously uncomfortable with the topic being discussed.

"Fine." Stiles huffs out before closing his eyes and believing that as the blood separates into each person's individual blood the binding holding each of them together will unbind itself.
