Tyler was right, his mom did try and get Stiles to see a therapist when she found out about the panic attack. But when Stiles pointed out that the only time that therapy is useful and works is when the participant actually wants to go and Stiles truly did not want to go, she backed down.

What Carol did do however was tell his father about the panic attack, which meant that Stiles had to spend almost three hours talking to his father about why the panic attack happened, what Stiles did to stop the panic attack and how 'no dad I promise you living here is helping' and 'no dad I don't think going back to Beacon Hill's would help'.

Stiles did end up telling his father about his recent supernatural upgrades and how he felt about them and while Stiles' father couldn't really help on the front, just speaking about it to him helped. He wasn't sure however about if he should tell his father about the other supernatural beings in town.

His father ended up calling Stiles out however when he realised there was something his son wasn't telling him by reminding Stiles that they had promised to be completely truthful with each other. So, Stiles told his father about the vampires, witch, weird girl, and Tyler possibly being a werewolf. It didn't help his father's worry but Stiles did promise that he would try to stay out of the supernatural drama that seemed to be happening around him.

When the call ended Stiles felt his shoulders untense. He didn't even realise that he had been so stressed about it.

It was now founders day and Stiles was dressed up in 1800's military garb and walking around the floats to see exactly what everyone did with theirs.

"No, no, no, no, no! It's all wrong! The marching band should be in front of the Historic Society. Matt, get up on the float. Stiles! Stop wondering around and get to your float. Boys, I asked you to put chairs on the Founders' Float. Ladies! Time to get on the float." Stiles can hear Carol Lockwood ordering people around. He decides to not anger her more and start making his way to his float.

Stiles notices Caroline, Matt and Bonnie taking pictures in front of the Miss Mystic float. Caroline and Matt are dressed up in their 1800's costumes.

"Say cheese!" Stiles can hear Bonnie say from where he is standing. He shouldn't be able to hear them.

"Oh wait! Hide your cast, it's not era-appropriate!" Caroline orders Matt. Stiles wonders if he can hear peoples heart beats like the werewolves could.

"Seriously?" Matt questions.

"Yes!" Caroline says enthusiastically. Stiles starts trying to focus in on them listening out for the thump-thump of their hearts.

"I want one with Bonnie now." Thump-thump-thump that's it Stiles can hear them. He wonders if he will be able to pick up on people lying from just their heart beats.

"Here, I can take it." Stiles gets drawn out from his mind space by the sound of Tyler's voice.

"I'll be on the float." Matt says immediately before walking off.

"I said I was sorry!" Tyler exclaims at Caroline.

"You made out with his mother and then you beat him to a pulp. You're gonna have to do a little bit better than sorry." Caroline says before walking off to find Matt.

"Hey, Tyler!" Stiles calls out for Tyler. "It's time to get to our float man." Before you mom loses her mind, he doesn't say.

Stiles and Tyler walk over to the float where they find Jeremy Gilbert standing in his costume waiting for them with fake guns from the 1800's.

The floats set off soon after Tyler and Stiles are in their spots. Stiles waves to the crowd and laughs when Tyler and Jeremy both pretend to shoot each other. He's having fun. It's the first time he is having fun at one of these events...something is bound to go wrong.
