Ominous
Ronnie's eye had gotten back to regular and she didn't take anytime to ditch those shades. She was at the yogurt bar waiting for Anthony. He was in town for a week and he wanted to see her again. She wore her cutest outfit and fixed her hair up really nice. She figured she would let Anthony know everything that's been going on.
"Roro!" He yelled walking in the building.
"Hey Anthony." She got up to hug him. He squeezed her tight and kissed her cheek.
"What you been up to lil bit?" He asked sitting at the table.
"Nothing, finishing up my second semester in a month. You know I got all A's." She said bragging and smiling ear to ear.
"Word, I knew my girl could do it. You know you could be making all A's at OU like we talked about our Junior year. You know they got cheerleading tryouts and stuff, they looking for the big booty girls too cause all them sticks." He said smiling at her.
"How has basketball been?" She asked changing the subject.
"It's been good, I'm the only freshman starting, can you believe that Ro. Coach saw me ball and said he just had to put me in the game." He said excited.
"That's great Tony, I'm so proud of you. You really made it. You know I be watching your games." She said nudging his shoulders.
"I appreciate it, you know you my good luck charm, always have been and always will be." Ronnie smiled looking down.
"That's why I need you there Ro. You could be on the court cheering me on and stuff. They got a nice ass campus, so many dorms, and the atmosphere is A1. So much to do at OU. At least come check it out." He said.
"You always do that." Ronnie laughed drinking her Gatorade.
"What I always do?" Anthony knew exactly what she was talking about. He just wanted to hear her say it.
"You sell me a dream and then make it a nightmare." She shrugged.
"Nah I don't, I'm telling the truth. You know you don't want to be at no damn community college Ronnie. You belong at OU and you know it. You want to be a dentist, the only thing you can possibly going to cc is a an assistant for a dentist." He said telling her the cold hard truth.
"Tony I just can't right now okay, I would love to go to a four year and have the right college experience but I can't. We just going trough too much right now." Ronnie shrugged her shoulders.
"Everything alright?"
"No. Seiko's going through a hell of a lot and Rochelle's in the hospital. We won't know what's up with her until next week."
Tony's eyes got bigger. "What's going on with Seiko? You know that's my girl." He said leaning in closer.
"It's personal." Ronnie shook her head and drunk some more of her drink.
"Damn, well what about you? You alright?" He asked.
"I'm fine." She answered a little too quickly for his liking. She was getting second thoughts about telling her secret.
"No you not. I know you Ro, whats up?" He asked again.
"Anthony, I'm really fine." She got a text from Tone telling her to come over.
"Who that?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"It's Tone..."She whispered.
He pressed his lips together.
"That fuck nigga." Anthony shook his head.
"Nah, you pushed me to the side, remember." She talked lowly and smirked. She gathered her things.
