I decided to go see Anthony. He was only in town for another week and my eye had gone down since then.

I knocked on the door waiting for an answer. A shirtless Anthony came to the door. His smile was big when he saw me.

"What's up Ro!" He pulled me into the tightest hug.

"What's up!" I said smiling.

"Come on, my mama in the kitchen." He said holding the door open.

Soon as she saw me coming in she screamed.

"Hey Ma!" I said running to hug her.

"Look at my baby!" She yelled hugging me. "How you been!?" She asked hitting me with her kitchen towel.

"I been good, just school and stuff. Trying to transfer to a four year." I said petting their family dog.

"Now I don't know why your smart ass went to that damn community college. You know you better that!" She rolled her eyes at me and moved her pot off the fire.

"I know Ma, but I had to stay and help my sisters out you know." I said shrugging.

"I talked to Chelle, chelle had everything under control. You chose to stay. Girl I oughta whip yo ass." She shook her head.

I know everybody was disappointed in me but I didn't know what else they wanted from me.

"Ma, can I have this time to spend with her? Y'all can talk later." Anthony grabbed my hand and led me to his bedroom.

"Oh we go finish." She yelled.

I laughed walking into the room. He still had everything looking the same. His big comfortable king sized bed and everything was clean and smelled nice.

"So. Whats up?" I kicked off my converse and hopped in the bed.

"Shid, wassup with you? I heard somebody took my place." He sat in the computer chair staring at me.

"I wouldn't say somebody took your place... I give what I'm given." I shrugged.

"Man you knew that girl didn't mean nothing to me. She never even met my grandma. I wouldn't even do you like that." He said.

"But you did Ant! You did me like that. Had me looking stupid as fuck. Then broke up with me saying you couldn't do the relationship thing then got a girlfriend two days later. You fucked over me not the other way around." I said angry.

"I was wrong for that Ro and I messed up. How many times I have to apologize for that?" He asked.

"I've forgiven you, but what you won't do is complain about what I got going when you did me like that. Come on now. That don't even compare." I said rolling my eyes.

"Why you with this clown? He can't do shit for you." He said laughing.

"He stayed." I said looking at him with a serious face. "He may not be perfect, but I can't leave him." I said shrugging.

Anthony came and sat on the bed.

"I'm not asking you too... but for you Ronnie... I'll wait. I know the nigga go fuck up sooner or later." He winked at me.

I smiled and he kissed my lips.

Damn Ant.

"Still got them soft ass lips huh?" He smirked while he kissed me.
