AKINTOYE SAMUEL DANIELS

I return to the bedroom to find Ntando peacefully sleeping. I look at the time on my watch and its just after 8pm. I caress her cheek and she flutters her lashes and turns to face the other side. I don't like what I have to do, Nichume is a nice person. The amount of time she and I spent together was the first time in a long time I got to be genuinely happy and being with her sister, Ntando is just as amazing as her sister is and having to betray them like this doesn't sit well with me. I leave her sleeping in the room and return to the lounge. I go through the pictures on my phone and I find one of Cathrine with my big brother and I. I sigh, i have to do this for my mother. She suffered a lot at the hands of the Ibrahim family, its a pity that Khaya involved himself and killed her because had he not then maybe his daughters would be safe by now. I call my little sister who answers after a while.

"Brother," she answers.

"How are you? How's school?' I ask her.

"You mean how's Adelola? she wants to get rid of it. She sent me a text after their little clinic visit telling me that she was getting rid of it." She reports.

"have you told Ike?" I ask her.

"Not yet, Ike bores me. he likes to think that he is in charge and all." She says and i chuckle. One thing about my little sister she hates demands. she hates being told what to do.

"Time is running out. You need to tell him, remember we are all doing this for mom," I remind her and she sighs.

"Fine. And you? How is it with the girls?" she asks, I steal a glance at the door.

"Things are falling into place. They trust me," I say, "speaking off. I need to call Adeyemi, we'll talk tomorrow?" I suggest.

"Alright bro. No problem. I love you," she says.

"I love you too. Behave, okay?" I say and we end the call.

Catherine had three children, Ike, myself and Brianna. Ike and I share a father while Brianna has her own father, the man that is raising her right now with his wife. I didn't want her involved in this but what Ike says goes. He needed everyone keeping an eye on each Ibrahim. While Ike was given to a good family, Catherine raised me from afar. She always took care of me and she made sure that I ended up in the mansion via Okoye. My meeting with Adi was pre planned, Okoye made it happen because he knew the kind of man Adi was and he knew Adi would feel sorry for me and take me to the mansions and thats exactly what happened. They needed someone on the inside and that was me, mom had been planning her revenge for years and now we finally get to execute it according to how she wanted us to with a few tweaks here and there. Ike needs to play his part and let Adae know about Lola seeing that she is the next Elder that way Lola can't terminate. Adae is gullible and naive hence it will be easy for my brother to manipulate her into doing the things he wants her to do on that seat.

NICHUME SIPHOSETHU MNGUNI

I am woken up by a panic attack, I don't know what I was dreaming about but Adeyemi wakes up with me and he switches the bedside lamp on.

"Chume, breathe baby. Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out," he says helping me do breathing exercises. I shake my head as the air refuses to go through but Yemi doesn't give up. He helps me take deep breaths in and out until my breathing is stable and normal. he hands me a glass of water and helps me drink the water.

"Talk to me little dove," he encourages brushing hair out of my face.

I let out a heavy sigh, "I had this scary dream, it was like someone ripped my tummy open and took the twins, I didn't see their face but it sounded like a man," I confess, he looks at me with furrowed eyebrows, "I think something is wrong with the twins," I admit painfully.
