Omake; Battle of Two Yandere

The attack came from nowhere. Naruto barely had time to raise Akkorokamui to parry. He looked into the face of Hebi Sage Mode Sasuke and grinned. Within seconds of one breath and the next, Naruto too activated his Gama Sage Mode. There are no words exchanged, they knew well what and for whose hand they were fighting for.

Sasuke have been perfecting his Kenjutsu with Orochimaru who studied the form with Samurai and Naruto had been trained in one of the most obscure Kenjutsu that even other Samurai feared. Now it was only a battle of who utilized it better.

Blades clashing, bodies swerving, clones were added, and in the end, Sasuke finally pulled out a new blade. Naruto pulled back, recognizing the sword; Raijin no Ken. It was a good match for Sasuke who considers himself a Raiton master. Red chains appeared and Naruto landed on one in the sky. Sasuke's Sage Mode grew dragon wings, more refined, and fewer fingers than his second demonic form of the Cursed Seal.

He flew.

Naruto manipulated the chains like a conductor. The serrated chains, better suited his temper, answered like his limbs. They slashed and grabbed at Sasuke as he flew out of the way. He gritted his jaw as he saw that Naruto was simply playing with him.

He flew straight for the blond.

Naruto burned.

It wasn't an attack but crimson flames flickering black almost like Amaterasu covered his body. Strange markings glow burning gold. He was like a black sun as he answered Sasuke's strike. Sasuke could feel his bones creak. Naruto moved, and each hit was heavy. He doesn't need to fight on the ground. He doesn't need the ground. The chains answered him.

Sasuke tried to burn him but Naruto let the black chakra that surround him be burned instead. He rushed forward and punched the Uchiha, the force of the punch making the mid-air chains rattle and the tree top sway to the side. Sasuke barely called on Susanoo to cover his face.

The giants came out to play.

Susanoo versus whatever the hell Naruto had become. A giant black fox avatar matching Sasuke's titanic avatar whipped nine tails behind them. Chains contained the battle in the arena. Sasuke roared as he whipped out his chakra sword at Naruto. Akkorokamui weaved a new form matching Kurama's size and they met the chakra blade of Susanoo.

Naruto cackled.

It was the battle for the ages, one that ripped off the trees and flatten the land around them. Craters were formed, mountains were leveled, ravines were made, and new rivers were created. At the end of it all, Sasuke's Sage Mode came to an end and he knew he had to leave.

He looked over his shoulder and saw Naruto staring as he stood in the air on a suspended chain, letting him go, his eyes promising that he will reclaim Hinata, but at the moment she was safer with Sasuke. Like it or not, Sasuke was still once on Team 7, a cursed team. But they shared a mind. Sasuke might hurt her but Naruto will always be there to comfort her and heal her.

Always...
