Guilt and Insanity

Uchiha Sasuke woke up with a scream. Everything had become clearer after Itachi got rid of the Cursed Seal of Heaven on his shoulder. He kept dreaming about what he had done to Karin and then he kept revisiting what he had done to Hinata. He felt bad for what he did to Karin but...what he did to Hinata was unforgivable. What he had forced her to see, his sick fantasy...how could he do that to her? He knew how much she loved to have a family one day.

Tobi looked in his direction as Sasuke screamed in his room, once again tormented by the things he had done. Even he was disgusted by Sasuke and he was planning to start the 4th Shinobi War. Uzumaki Naruto made everything harder. Especially with the loss of Pein and most of the Akatsuki members, grabbing the Kyuubi will be even harder.

The Uzumaki Clan was a mysterious clan with cultures and beliefs that baffled the world. And yet even after the clan was long destroyed, some part of the world, those along the coast still whisper the name of the clan with reverence and fear. After what Naruto did to Ame and what he had done above Suna, the Hidenjutsu that uses chakra like the Uzumaki Clan was clearly something to be feared.

When Tobi ventured into Ame mid-destruction to steal back the Rinnegan, even he was sickened by what Naruto did. Men, women, children, and the elderly, none was spared as the serrated chains cut through them and splattered the whole place red. Heaven and earth swallowed the land and even the sky turned red.

Obito only survived because of Kamui.

The sight was a thing of nightmares and he had done such unforgivable things to Kiri. But unlike Tobi, Naruto came forward on his own and did it all with his own hands. Ame was destroyed and everything was dead. Any survivors left were obliterated by the strange Rasengan he used.

Tobi knew Naruto saw him.

Tobi saw a Kage Bunshin playing with an Ame Shinobi before ripping the man into two. He smiled at Tobi and mouthed that 'he's next' before popping. Tobi wasn't sure he can face that kind of madman. Every madman he had solicited in the past had a reason but Naruto's reasons are frighteningly noble. This was the action taken without that safety lock, Hyuuga Hinata, being close. What if that lock was taken away or killed?

Tobi shuddered, "He'll be worse than me,"

Tobi can tell; Naruto doesn't want a dream. Naruto wanted reality but that reality must include Hinata. He was the opposite of Tobi. Tobi did this because he wanted to dream of his lost love. Naruto did this because he wanted to keep his love safe.

Hatred and Love...

Zetsu's confused. He doesn't know how to manipulate a human-like Naruto. Killing Hinata will make him kill the world and Tobi needs the world to revive Kaguya. Zetsu can manipulate hate, he understands hate. He doesn't understand love. He knows devotion to Mother, but not love. But because of love, Naruto unmakes everything he had done to 'write' the history of the Shinobi world.

Everyone's afraid of Uzumaki Naruto.

They call him Shinobi no Maou.

The Demon King.

The more they investigated the fallen Amegakure, the more horrified they became. There's a reason Zetsu manipulated the villages of Kumo and Kiri to attack Uzushio. Their sealing prowess frightens even him. He avoided the clan after the second son of Ashura split from the group after Zetsu failed to entice them as he did with Indra. The man then focused on sealing. If Naruto ever gains knowledge of Zetsu, he will hunt down the creature and seal him into the Moon with Mother.

Zetsu sensed that this time was a fail.

Perhaps he will entice Naruto's line in the future, and then...Mother will be freed.
