Hinata looked out at the giant lake in Mount Myoboku. She had taken to wear less clothing due to the humid weather. She didn't know how long she have been in the mountain of toads and giant flora. Naruto has yet to return. Jiraiya was still healing and it was only because he has so much help between her and Shima that he was even alive.

She was healing, slowly but surely.

Jiraiya had received news that Naruto had destroyed a nation. A whole nation, full of people and innocent children, just gone. She knew that he's capable of being ruthless and heartless but he had never hurt her. In fact, Jiraiya said that Hinata being hurt caused his ruthless side to rear its head more and more, especially since she's not around. He's not blaming her and told her that it isn't her fault for being away. Naruto put her here to keep her away from danger.

Every decision he made and every actions he took was his and his alone.

The toads all agreed that Naruto's actions and cruelty wasn't hers to bear. His sin was his alone. No one else. But Hinata couldn't help but wonder if she could have coerced him to take a different route. She knew that he will move the moon itself if it was her wish. If she had asked him to spare the innocents, he would do it. Some would say that she was being pretentious or delusional for thinking that she has that kind of control with a man that destroyed a nation on a paranoid whim but Hinata liked to believe that she knew Naruto well enough.

After learning about his unique condition, Naruto only keep her away from the worse of him but didn't hide just what he was capable of. He was only ever compassionate for her because she was kind to others. Hinata soon learned that he only knew kindness in her presence. Jiraiya and Tsunade told her that the worse thing she could do was to reject him and the fall of Ame confirmed this. So she knew, if it was her request, he would show compassion to others if only in her name.

She sighed as she felt sweat tricking down her bare back.

When she first arrived, she almost suffered heatstroke due to refusing to show her skin even to toads. She was traumatized from what had happened the last time she showed so much skin. But Shima told her that either she show so skin and get well or she die to leave their fate in Naruto's hand. Just the thought of Naruto abusing them because she was a snowflake changed her tune even though she struggled with it. Her fear for their safety helped her get through the worse of her trauma.

Her large chest was wrapped up and her skirt was hanging from her hip bone, tied to the side for better movement. She was either constantly wet from sweat or constantly wet from humidity. Even Jiraiya had taken to walk around in bandages and his pants, his long hair tied up high and physically kept in one place for healing purposes.

Oddly enough helping Jiraiya get better helped her mental state.

She felt in control now. Her greatest trauma was the inability to move and being with someone that's not Naruto. She felt like she betrayed him. During her delirious moments though, he continuously whispered his love to her. She clung to those words in the early days of her stay in the mountain with the toads. But she was most grateful that she wasn't pregnant.

After Naruto sealed his sperm, she had asked him if he has something similar for her. He told her that he did designed one for women and that he had been selling them to brothels where it was a boon. Hinata was surprised that he did that and he told her that women there usually aborted their children rather violently whenever the clients managed to put a baby in them. So he thought that Hinata won't like that because she cherished children above all else so he created them something that will permanently stop them from ever becoming pregnant.
