It had finally come to Erresira's mind that she would never be able to see nor feel Drite as they could never be at the same time. It took her many decades to come to terms with this and many notes were exchanged between the two but he failed to understand her emotions but frustratingly agreed to leave her be. His notes and gifts had simply became a sorrowful reminder to Erresira that the two would never come to be; hence she asked for them to stop and so he conformed, but that didn't stop Drite from obsessing over her.
With the newfound sadness, she sought someone who would understand, Divkan did many things that brought him dejection but he managed them. The two got along very well as Divkan had adored her from the moment of his creation; thus the two became more intertwined than they ever thought to be. The only one who knew of their actions was Erresira's closest friend, Ferr. Ferr was happy for Erresira and encouraged her to seek out her own happieness; though this came with a great cost.
Erresira became ill one day and sought Ferr's comfort, the two soon realized Erresira had become pregnant. A heavy fear of ostracism rippled over Erresira, she believed if the child deserved to live and breathe; she wanted it to experience everything she was forbidden to. This led to an agreement between her and Ferr; the pregnancy would be hidden from all others in fear of rejection from both Aleicia and Divkan, once born it would be given to Ferr who would assist its growth in her domain, Alciel.
Erresira told Divkan the two would no longer meet and he respected her wishes, solely focusing on his work in Epecien. This allowed Erresira to remain in her domicile and keep to herself for the duration of the pregnancy. After 9 long months of solitude she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. With tears flowing her cheeks she bestowed the baby girl with the name Elira; meaning the free one, she then handed the girl off to Ferr, who quickly returned to Alciel.
Ferr did a wonderful job raising Elira; Erresira wanted nothing but her daughters safety, hence she kept from seeing, speaking or hearing the girl and would have Ferr come to her when they met. The girl became curious around the age of 6 as to why she looked nothing like Ferr; she had her fathers golden glazed eyes and his magnificent black horns, her mothers beautiful silk gray skin and gorgeous features. She was told a woman had come to Ferr in desperate need of help, she wanted nothing more but for her child to live a happy and healthy life, though she was unable to provide that, hence she prayed to Ferr, who kindly took in the child once she was born; this satisfied Elira and made her appreciate Ferr and adore her more than she already did.
Around the Age of 10, Divkan took notice of the girl's existence due to her powers; plant life and small animals would pass away once she touched them, sending them to him to be taken to the soul tree. He immediately took note and pieced the time line together, understanding that her powers came from him as she was his offspring. Elira began to pray and cry each night, not understanding what was happening to her nor why; this along with the growing loss of life around her caused him to step in. Divkan disguised himself and introduced himself to her but kept his relation to her as well as his true being a secret. Divkan understood Erresira and also had some fear of the child being disproved. He helped her understand her power and what she was doing, he would take time to check on Elira's progress often and grew fond of her. They became friends over time but he knew he couldn't ever stay for long and if he desired to help her more he'd need to step back and take some time to himself. Thus he did so and stopped coming around; Divkan focused on his work but also made time to weave Elira a pair of gloves from feathers he plucked from his wings.
Elira was worried about her dear friend and began to pray, asking for any signs that he was happy and healthy and if she had by chance done anything wrong. It took a few times but Divkan heard her prayers; though by this time as did Drite, but he had no knowledge that her friend was Divkan. Once his work started to ease up, Divkan wrote to Elira and left her the very special gloves he made her while she slept. The gloves would conceal her powers beneath their fabric, enabling her to touch freely again without fear and harm. The two would continue to write frequently after this.
Drite took notice of Elira because of her natural beauty and gentleness. Her words were always soft and careful, her fondness for knowledge and learning made him want more from her. Drite began contacting her through her dreams, telling her wondrous stories of lands she never seen, creatures she'd never meet and castles she'd love to explore. Elira began to write to Divkan about her dreams, with her descriptions he knew it was Drite and began keeping a closer eye on her.
Drite began watching Elira's daily life around the age of 14, obsessing over her every move, gawking at her growth and desiring her more and more. She had no idea he was stalking her, nor did she know his sick and twisted desires. Her father's work had spiked again so he honed her emotions to the back of his mind, unable to give her his full attention.
On Elira's 16th birthday Drite decited it was time for the two to meet. He waited after Ferr and Elira celebrated and for her to be in her room alone. She was changing into the new dress Ferr had gifted her when he made his entrance. A mix of confusion and glee filled Elira as the man from her dreams manifested; those emotions died as fear and defeat ripped through her as Drite reached out and slammed her down on the bed.
The hunger and lust for her was the last thing in his eyes and foul mind as his light was extinguished from existence with a swift and precise slice of Divkan's scythe. Drites decapitated head fell to the left as his limp body fell right, Elira's nails no longer ripped the fabric of her blanket as her eyes met her Fathers. His gold hues glowed violently as the repulsive grimace left his face as he looked over her, ensuring she hadn't been harmed. Divkan prioritized Elira, explaining everything to her, starting with who he really was, and their true relationship. She was grateful to him and did her best to understand his words. After he comforted her Elira agreed to go with him to Homeworld and tell her story.
Upon arrival, Divkan threw Drite's head at Aliecia's feet as Elira stepped out from behind him; his actions were to make it clear than no harm would come to the girl and Aliecia understood this message. She listened to every word and detail Elira told her, quickly coming to agree with Divkans decision. She then let Erresira speak. The apology left her lips as her tears hit the floor; Divkan needed no explanation nor apology as he fully understood her actions, Elira was saddened but understood as she was something that was never meant to exist.
The people of Epicein began to flock into temples, shrines and kingdoms, all their prayers held fear and confusion, the light that donned their skies was no more. This was the beginning of the Darkfall.
