Leander.
Ever since Ashton's party, the relationship between Sapphire and I has been hanging on thin thread.
It all started after the kiss between Camilla and I. She immediately apologised to me and Sapphire, but the tension between us can be cut with a knife. Sapphire started to act all weird around me. On top of that, Camilla started to hang around us, as a third wheel.
Sapphire's and Camilla's friendship started to bloom while our relationship was going down the hill. Camilla has been clinging to Sapphire like a leech and it's annoying me like hell. Where ever we are going, Camilla is there and if she is not there Sapphire will personally invite her.
Academic year flew within a blink of an eye. In three months we will graduate high school and soon after that I will be leaving New York for Harvard.
Today, Sapphire and I are going to our favorite cafe because today I will be disclosing to her, that I have been accepted in Harvard. My parents couldn't anymore be proud of me. Mama became sad that in a couple of months that I will be far from her. But I promised her that I will visit them whenever possible.
Getting inside my range rover, I drove to the restaurant where I will be meeting Sapphire. I hope that Sapphire will take the news happily. I am afraid to break her heart, because I will be moving away soon.
Sapphire's head snapped up when she heard my foot steps approaching the table where she sat. Thank God, the witch is not with her.
" You are late, Mr. Knight." She said with a playful glare as I take a seat in front of her.
" I am sorry babe, Alexander has a play tomorrow and I have been busy helping him." I explained to her for my tardiness.
I take her hand a kissed her knuckles causing her to blush under my gaze.
" Apology accepted. So why did you call me here today." She asked as a waiter placed our drinks on our table. I know Sapphire has already ordered our food.
I take both of our hands in mine and looked at her straight.
" About that babe, I wanted you to know that whatever I am going to say will never change anything in our relationship." I said sincerely.
" Leander, you are scaring me." Sapphire said as she looked worried.
" Baby, nothing is there to be worried about. I wanted to say that, I have been accepted in Harvard." I said with a big smile on my face.
I saw different emotions swirling through her eyes. For a moment she didn't say anything, as she looked at me in shock which frightened me.
" Sapphire, say something." I asked in anticipation.
She put on a big smile which didn't reach her ears erasing her shocked face.
" Congratulations Lean, you deserve it." She said as tears pooled her eyes.
I immediately stood up from my seat went towards her.
" Babe, I promise you we will work this out. You don't have to be sad. I love you so much Sapph and I am not letting you go. " I said with sincerity.
" Lean, I trust you, but within a few months you will be far away from me. What if our love fade away just like that?" She questioned.
" Sapph, do you think that my love for you is so naive?"
" I am not saying that Lean. But promise me ,you will video call me every single day and will visit me whenever you get a chance." Sapphire said.
Smiling I promised her to call her every day.
" Don't worry, I will call you everyday my sweet pie." I kissed her lips.
Soon our food arrived and we started to dig in. Throughout the dinner, we talked about how will be working on long distance relationship.

Camilla
I felt a pang in my heart as I stared at the lovely couple who was enjoying their dinner. I was seated at the corner of the restaurant where I can get a clear view of them. Oh how much I wished that the girl was me being seated beside him.
But he is blind, he can't see that I am getting heartbroken every time I see them together.
Ever since the party, Leander has been giving me cold shoulder, like he is annoyed by my presence. Everybody in his group likes me. I started hanging out with Sapphire so that I can get close to Leander. But he has only eyes for Sapphire. I have been poisoning Sapphire's mind about Leander. Since then she started going out with him less which makes Leander frustrated. Whenever they decide to hangout together I gatecrash and Sapphire a good friend doesn't know my true intentions.
In reality, I feel bad for Sapphire, she is a wonderful friend. But I have to break her heart in order to get Leander. Within a couple of months, Leander will move to Boston as he have been accepted in Harvard. That will be my chance to lure him into my trap. I will infiltrate Sapphire's mind with idea's like her boyfriend is cheating on her. Oh I am such a clever!!
Ringing of my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. I mentally groaned seeing the caller. Ashton has been bugging ever since the party. He doesn't know how much is he irritating me. I am only tolerating him because he is Leander's cousin.
Lifting my head, my eyes searched for the lovey dovey couple only notice them leaving the restaurant. Leander's hand wrapped around her waist. How I wish to strangle her!! Keeping aside my anger, I paid my bill and went after them.
My eyes searched for Leander's car and my eyes caught the sight of them making out inside their car. Tears pooled my eyes as I saw the scene in front of me. Within a second, their car speed fast me letting me stand outside the restaurant in the cold weather. I am sure they will be spending their night in Leander's penthouse, which was gifted by his father. It was their escapade. Sapphire once mentioned me about it.
Angrily wiping my tears, I got into my car and drove to my home.
Soon Leander, soon you will be mine!!!
