8. HIS ANGER

Camilla

" What the hell are you doing here?" Leander yelled at me as his hands pulled my arms harshly. I am sure it would leave a bruise later.

" Speak something damnit. Why are you here again? Did you come here to see my  misery? Weren't you satisfied enough? What are you here for again? Money or do you want to destroy somebody's happiness." He shouted at the top of his lungs while his hold tightened around my arm making me whimper.

" Lean.. you are hurting me." I sobbed.

" The amount of pain you inflicted on me is much more than this." Lean said as he looked dead into my eyes.

He was not the person with whom I fell in love with. Standing in front of me was a monster. Well I cannot blame him, because I am the reason for his situation  now.

" I am sorry, sorry for all the things that I did to you and Sapphire." I pleaded as I cried hysterically in his arms.

" Sorry? You are sorry. Will your sorry bring back my lost eight years, will it bring back Sapphire to me? " Leander shouted.

I shook my head as more tears flowed down my cheeks.

" Please, Leander I know whatever I do will never bring back what you lost. But I will do anything to seek your forgiveness. Please." I said as I folded my hands in front of him.

He suddenly released my arms and cupped my jaw harshly making me look at him straightly.

" Anything huh!! You will do anything " He asked as he raised his eyebrows at me. I nodded my head desperately.

Leander roamed his hands through my hand. " Anything." His eyes filled with lust.

I shoved his hands from my body as if it burned me and looked at him in pure disgust.

" I will not sleep with you Leander Knight if that's what you are implying." I spat.

" You only now said that you will do anything. Sell your body to me and I will forgive you." He stated as a matter of fact.

" You disgust me. I hate myself for falling in love with you." With that I stomped my feet and flew from there.

" You will regret this." Leander yelled. But I didn't stop. I walked far away from him determined to stay as far as away from him.

I did a grave mistake by coming here. Seeing Leander, I don't know why but my heart went crazy, beating faster than normal. Then only I realised that no matter what, I am still in love with him. But seeing him like this I couldn't help but hate myself for betraying him. I am the reason that he have become the person he is now.

With a heavy heart I started my car, and went back to my home. Even though, Destiny bombarded me with questions after questions, I dismissed her saying that I was tired. She didn't question me after that. I hope everything goes back to normal tomorrow.

(The next day)

Amanda called as soon as I reached my office.

" There is a new client for us,  Camilla. He was very impressed with our work we did yesterday." Amanda said as I took a seat in front of her.

The news brought a huge smile to my smile after all we worked our assess of for the last couple of months.

"The person who called me is very important and he told me to keep his name undisclosed."

" What's this event about?" I asked as I couldn't control my excitement.

" His company is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the event is being held at one of their hotels and they want us to coordinate everything. He wants everything to be perfect and wants no mistakes from our side. Keep that in mind Camilla and I want you to lead the team." She said as I looked at her in shock.
