14. LUNCH

Leander.

Life is full of surprises. Never in my life thought I would be able to make Camilla work for me let alone live under the same roof.

When I saw her this morning my heart skipped a beat. Even though my mind denies it, she is a beauty. With that emerald green eyes that stands outstanding on her face, her long nose, full plump lips. Wonder what it tastes like. She was dressed professionally. The black slim fit jeans she wore today accentuates her wide hips.

Daniel barged into my office breaking my chain of thoughts. He was the only person who would barge into my office without my permission. Even my father knocks on the door before entering.

He literally dragged me out of the office to have lunch with him. It's not the first time he has come here making the same excuse.

Not to upset him, because he will throw a  huge tantrum which will give a big headache I agreed to have lunch with him. Demanding him to wait for me in the car as I have some unfinished business, I arranged the papers that I have been reviewing regarding the new project.

As I was exiting my office, the door adjacent to my office opened and Camilla stepped out with her purse and phone in her hand.

Assuming the worst, I mocked her whether she had already quit. Obviously it's her lunch time but I denied her stepping out of the office before completing the task.

Exiting the elevator, I rolled my eyes noticing Daniel shamelessly flirting with the receptionist.

Noticing my presence, the receptionist's eyes widen and went back to work.

" I don't pay you to flirt with every male species in this office." I warned her.

" So- rry sir." She gulped in fear.

" Leave it me, bro. It was my mistake. Let's go." Daniel interfered.

With that we made our way out of the building. We sat inside our cars and started the ride to our favourite restaurant which was a twenty minute drive from here.

" Oh by the way, Arianna and Hailey are joining with us. Hailey messaged they are already at the restaurant." He said as his eyes focused on his phone.

I nodded my head in response.

" So how is everything with you and Camilla? Don't tell me you locked her in the penthouse just to get revenge on her." He said as his gaze was on me.

My hands tightened on the steering wheel as he mentions her name.

Clearing my throat, I responded.

" No, I appointed her as my PA."

I waited for his reaction. He blinked once, twice.

" WHATTTTTT"!!!!!! I rubbed my ear because of his loud voice.

" Leander Knight!! What in the fucking world did you do? Why would you do that? You never had an assistant before, why now?"

" Daniel calm down, don't overreact." I answered as I patted his arm.

He shoved my hand away as he pointed his finger at me.

" Calm down???? You don't tell me to calm down. I am going to call your mother and disclose all these things to her. "

No wonder he is Aunty Kate's son. He is just like her. I pity Uncle Zac who handles these two.

" Daniel no you will not tell my mother a single thing. Will you listen to me first? " I looked at him and tell him to take deep breaths.

" Ok tell me from the first. You blackmailed her to be your girlfriend and now she is your assistant. Why are you doing this?"
