Jay's POV
Once in the helicopter, doctors start treating the whole group except me. I refused any care except emergency. We only have three doctors in the helicopter and we're eight wounded. Despite the fact that the doctors want to examine me I say no but they persist.
"Lieutenant, you need first aid. You've lost a lot of blood." said one of the doctors.
"Take care of my men first." I replied.
The doctor replied when one of my men intervened.
"Drop it, he won't let you examine it until we're all okay, or at least in the hospital." Steve said.
The doctors stopped trying to convince me. I asked the rescue team where we were going. They said:
"We're going to camp to do as much as we can with the time we have and then you're going home to the hospital." Said one of the soldiers.
"What hospital?" I replied
"Chicago Med" a soldier replied
"Great!" I say sarcastically
"Is there a problem?" Another soldier curiously asks
"Oh no, just my brother who's going to freak out and lecture me and so he's going to warn my team and they're all going to show up right away. Basically half of Chicago will be." I answer.
"I see that you are just as popular in the army as in Chicago..." a soldier replied
As I was about to retaliate, we arrived at the camp.
